Currently taking her summer online trig. class. Best decision I could have made on a summer course. Her material is organized & easy to follow. The homework is easy to understand and we get 2 attempts on quizzes. On exams we can take a note card with formulas. Do homework and you will pass the quizzes. Would definitely take again

I highly suggest to not take Dr. Bush pre-calc online course! Unless you are okay to teach yourself about this course with "0" lecture. The only way I could learn something was by doing the homework. Nothing more than that was ever offered. Theres 2 exams and no extra credit! Actually there was 5 points*. Thanks Wendy! But srly, do not take her!!!

I took this class online and it was a breeze. There are clear deadlines on everything and most of the material is easy to understand. You get one notecard for the midterm and two for the final, and the reviews are basically the test.

Comment:

Ignore the rating beforehand. Deadlines are all on math lab, why would you "expect" extended deadlines? She provides you with power points, my mathlab, and is literally always there to help. Open notes on everything, in exchange for hw you can legit complete in class. I got an A and it was the best class I've ever taken, she cares.

hybrid honors stat class, by far the best professor .It's 1quiz, 1 hw assignment every week, open notes but in exchange its like 40-60 hw questions that takes 1-2 hours to do. Mostly self taught, but she's very good at explaining. Would 100% take as long as you take good notes from hw and ppt, set for quiz. project at the end for honors. Met 1xweek

She is a most excellent guide. I took the online class, so there's no actual teaching going on, but she has set everything up in pearson right nice. Just watch the videos and read your textbook to figure out how to solve the math problems and you will be fine. The textbook is your best friend in this class.

I got fooled by all the glowing comments. This teacher rewards the ones who does not work by extending deadlines more than once, and we who got bags under our eyes, giving everything before it was due, got nothing. Waits until you lost all of your sleep to anounce extensions. Very harsh grader. Not an iota of extra credit. Regret taking her.

Took this class online. I didn't feel like I had a teacher since I havent talked to her once this semester. It's a good class. Put in the work and you'll be fine. Not going to lie the "only two exams(midterm and final) is a bit of a gamble. You don't have a lot of recoveries if you fail either exam.

Took this class online and it wasn't that difficult. If you put in the time and study for the midterm and final, you will pass the class. The only bad thing about this class is the midterm and final make up 40% of your grade. Overall, it's an easy class if you study and put in the work.

She is very understanding and will help you. I took her as hybrid. I never really came to the class because all you do is basically work on the homework and take notes thats all. I would have taken it online if thats what I knew in the beginning we would do. She made this class easy to understand.

Took her for stats (hybrid) and trig (online). Both were super easy. For stats, tests and quizzes were open notes. For trig, you could take the quizzes twice and keep the higher score. Trig tests were taken in the testing center and you could bring an index card (1 for midterm, 2 for final). Just pay attention in trig if you have to take calc 2.

I took this class online and it was the easiest math class I have taken to date. The way she set up the course was very efficient and helpful. All the quizzes and tests were at home and gave me a chance to practice for the midterm and final, both of which she gave a study guide for that was very thorough. I would definitely take her again.

Be prepared to do A LOT of homework (2-4 MyMathLab sections) and 1 quiz each week! Unlimited attempts with the homework, and 2 attempts for each quiz. Straight forward, the homework and quizzes are graded so heavily that you absolutely CAN pass with at least a C- even if you bomb the exams. DO YOUR HOMEWORK until you get 100%, quizzes based on HMWK

If you take her online, all she does is link you to Pearson's my math lab. I find it astonishing that she is getting paid to just have a link in blackboard without even making her own slides. If you can teach yourself statistics, its an easy A. I would recommend Doctor Kasha instead -- he is one of the best!

Comment:

The class is straightforward. You have 4 test and a final, which is cumulative. The only downfall, there is a lot of hw which is expected for a calc class but it gives you practice for the test. Study guides are hw questions focused on the test so in the long run hw will help you pass. Always ask questions especially on hw review. Best professor!

I took Professor Bush for Statistics, i signed up for a hybrid course. Class was only once a week and you have more than enough time to get the hw done. In the beginning chapters, hw and a quiz was due every week but as the chapters got longer, it was due every 2 weeks. She helps you during the quiz and final and its all open notes! Shes the best!!

Comment:

If you aren't interested in higher level maths because you're a science major, don't bother. Heavy on homework which is only 7% of your grade and 93% dependent on exams so don't expect any cushion/life support/etc. to help stabilize your grade. The people who rate her highly are probably the tryhard engineers who bring teachers apples.
