anyone who said anything bad about him either has no interest in the class or doesn't pay attention at all. He is a very nice man, and only picks on people who don't pay attention, ask irrelevant questions, or come late. Explains everything clearly, and gives openbook quizzes. Great professor if you are willing to be a good student.

Comment:

Nice man who tells corny jokes. He actually cares about his students learning what he is teaching. Very strict on paying attention and coming to class on time, will yell at you if you come late or daze off. He moves unnecessarily slow with the curriculum and does not get through the whole thing. It is painful to sit in class he is so boring.

This prof thinks of himself as a sort of polymath.Per contra, he is far from it. He is a disconsolate individual who unleashes unwarranted animadversions on anyone he doesn't care for.A boring educator who has exsiccated the course of any life and a professor who is shorn of any scholarship in his respective field.He's also incorrigible in his ways

The class material itself is a joke, the curricula in these lower-level math courses are nothing to perseverate over. However, be aware this particular professor in question is quite nasty. Whether he likes you or not is fortuitous, and he will make you miserable if it's the latter.

Nice guy. Open book quizzes. Must come to class. 8:00 AM class isn't easy. Quizzes are straight forward but must do work his way or you will be severly penalized with points even if you get the right answer. That's the price for open book quizzes. Overall good teacher, but very rigid in his grading.

Very nice man. I had class at 8am and he tried to make to keep us awake by making corny jokes. The material is not the most fun thing to learn, but he was extremely helpful and actually cared that you were learning something.

I disagree with many comments here. Very, very nice man. Extremely easy class. He goes over same material for 2 or 3 classes then an OPEN NOTES AND BOOK quiz. You have to really not pay attention to fail. If anything he is a little boring, takes a whole class to do one problem. Great guy. Reminds me of my grandpa.

my grandpa is the best man ever!!!!!! i luv u papi, you are amazing, everyone should worship you and the ground you walk on. your the living God. i want to be you. i love math because of you. you make my world go round. without you i would never know how to multiply complex fracions or turn decimals into percantages!!!!!!!!!! He grades harshly on quizzes and stuff if you don't do it his way, but he teaches well. It's a matter of just paying attention. He exempts people from the final (90 avg or better) but will give you an A-. I had about a B average and took the final did well and got an A-. Pretty decent professor.

He's alright!! The good thing is he allows open book for all his exams! He's alright with explaining the material...u kind of need to study on your own! DON'T TAKE HIM IN THE MORNING HE CAN BECOME VERY BORING!!!!!!!

McKeough is definately not extremely clear in his presentation of the material. I had trouble on tests early on in the semester, however I felt that Professor McKeough was rather generous in counting later grades more heavily. It took some time to adjust to his exams but I still managed a B- even though I was failing with only a month of the semester

McKeough can be really unclear, and absolutely talks in circles at times...so don't be surprised if you drift off somewhere else during his class..BUT his class is INSANELY easy. The material is not hard and he allows open book on all the quizzes...homework isn't mandatory, its just a good idea to do a few problems so you understand the material

If you can't get at least an A- in this class there is probably something wrong with your brain. The class is a joke. Allows open notes/open text book for all tests and he collects the homeworks but doesn't even count them as part of your grade. You have to go to this class about once every 2 weeks to get an A.
