took him for intro to stats, it was horrible, i did all the work that was required and still got a c on the project work. the final was rediculous, i think i managed to do 2 out of 10 problems, he doesnt seem to know what hes doing half the time, and is very unclear about alot of things, i didnt like him much

Professor Scott is a nice guy! His class may not be the most interesting but what math class is! He explains anything that you don't understand if you only ask. He is a hard grader but gives you practice tests that are very similiar to the real ones!

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE AND REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR. I took this class in high school and i got an A and now i have a C. He makes things overly complicated and with his monotone voice i have a hard time staying awake. Basically he needs to retire.

personally i dont think he's as bad of a professor as everyone thinks. i just thinks he's boring and his class goes by so slow. he's a pretty tough grader when it comes to test so in my opinion if you aren't very good at math don't take him. but for those really good math students that just want a challenge go for it.

horrible. I got an F in his class and I never failed a test. Not sure how he came up with that grade. I got D's C's and one B on his tests and took this class in highschool and got an A. You have to do what he wants you to do or else he will take points off everything, even if the problem is right. DO NOT take him.

His class is ridiculously boring and he only has one way of teaching. He also only has one way of showing you how to do a problem and you cannot do it any other way besides his. He is a very nice man but his class is very boring and kind of hard.

He seriously shows no interest at all in trying to develop or teach a students. In fact his sole objective appears to be to try and fail students. PLEASE do not even consider signing up for a class with this person (notice I refuse to refer to him as a teacher)...he just doesn't seem to care. You'll be wasting your time. You have been warned!

Scott is a nice guy and classes aren't serious or boring, but he makes math difficult. No extra credit and no sympathy if you miss class due to things you can't control (illness, car accident, etc.). If you miss a class, you miss a LOT and it's hard to catch up. Class grade is just the 5 tests averaged, so if you're not good on tests, do NOT take him. Also, tests are 50% math problems and 50% definitions, so make sure you study definitions! I have nothing against him, but I ended up withdrawing.

Do not take him if you are bad in math! He is no help and does not do extra credit. He says he'll make time to help you but he never shows up in his office...be prepared to take the class over! Very unfair grader!
