He is very knowledgeable about the subject though, his classes can get little boring. I don't think it is his fault if the classes are boring as the course material itself is pretty monotonous. He tries really hard to make his classes interesting and to tell what is fair for exams. Exams are very fair and he is a fine marker!

Is very unclear of what he expects for tests. He lectures in circles, covering the same topic very poorly. Tests are brutal, and degrades his students often, assuming it's the students fault, and not his teaching. Stresses plants and little on zoology. I'm sitting in his class right now typing this, THAT is how boring his lectures are. Avoid him.

I remember when I first came in to muhammeds class I had the hardest time adjusting to actually studying the smart way. Faizal taught me how to. I used to study for hours and did poorly on the first midterm, faisal showed me the ropes and I caught on pretty quick, In the end may grade was good, and I will never forget how he helped me.

He used to be a curator at a botany Museum, so he REALLY knows his plants. He does zoom though the zoology part of the coarse because of it though, so your kinda on you own for that half. But if you have any questions about plants, good guy to go to!

I found his exams difficult (= I wasn't able to get an A) even though I did very well in previous biology courses and studied. He tends to go into great detail in the first half of the course (botany), and not as much in the second (zoology). I haven't heard of anyone getting a grade higher than A- yet, though.

Fazal is the BEST BIOL2233 instructor MRC has. Lets be real..TODD NICKLE is the worst person to be teaching anycourse, it only gets betterTHEN HIM. And fazals test arent hard, he gives u what he wans u to know.. and god forbid students actually having to study...hes wicked thats all i gotta say!

terrible guy. him in a nut shell: he doesn't use blackboard for announcements/grades, takes 2/3 of the semester teaching plants, whips through zoology finding that there's little time, no exact dates on course outline for exams, doesn't finish creating exams until 2 days before the exam date, thinks you know everything before a lab

Had Fazal for bio lab - ridiculously hard tests! He is also a bit patronizing. Honestly, you can't expect a group of first year bio students to soak up all one million details. The class is hard enough to begin with. Lab marks should be easy.
