I really liked her as a prof! She kept thing as simple as possible and did a good job of emphasizing the key points. The exams were fair and she gave good feedback such as posting a very detailed answer key. Attendance is necessary as she writes out the notes by hand.

Comment:

She was always open for extra help, always open for questions in class, and very accessible after class. All notes are hand written, which is probably where the negative ratings are coming from. All resources (text book, notes, online posts) must be utilized to do well. Overall great prof ! Definitely taking another with her.

Clean, simple notes. Made a great effort to teach by enhancing with visuals, animations, and guest lecturer. Presents both theory and modern-current happenings in genetics. Very genuine and cared about students. If you do assigned problems and go to class, tests should be a walk in the park.

This is my absolute least favorite instructor/teacher/prof EVER. I appealed the course on the grounds an assignment was not marked according to the course outline and then she lied to the review committee. AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Sweetheart, with a kindergarten teacher's demeanour. Does make mistakes in her lectures, but it's exacerbated by the jackasses who rag on her. Bit of a patsy course...only the tutorial quizzes (not set by her) are a bit tricky.

Makes too many mistakes in the lectures to be clear, if you have the option to take this class with another prof, do it! Midterm was ok, but final was ridiculously unfair! Definitely not an easy A, like i've heard with other profs. She's nice, but a terrible prof.

Terrible prof. She makes tons of mistakes which makes it hard to understand the material. Students are constantly correcting her and helping her. She always says oh its early or oh its monday or oh its friday or oh its wednesday. Its always something!

she can't even teach, students needed to help her do her own lecture. notes are long, full of mistakes! dr. ross on the other hand rules!!! her tests are also very unfair, if you think this course is an easy A, think again if you take her.

Horrible lecturer, my notes are always a mess at the end of class. The midterm was badly worded (who makes a midterm 20 multiple choice?!) I wish Dr. Ross taught the class. Dr. Worley's super nice though :)

She's not a very good prof. And all those mistakes she makes in class just make your notes even more unorganized. What can you say about a prof. who needs the students help to get on the right track! I don't recommend her, she makes an easy course hard.
