Comment:

Professor Rubin is the most entertaining and down to earth teacher I have ever had. He is well versed on the subject and makes going to class worth your time. Lots of group work outside of the classroom and lots of presentations. Only two tests in the whole course and one business plan. I HIGHLY recommend Rubin and would definitely take him again.

the BEST GFOB professor easily. Very funny guy, classes are fun to be in, he keeps things light. obviously there is the whole business plan but every class does this. he wants his students to do well and will help out people who are having a tough time. very approachable and a genuinely nice guy. my favorite professor at Bryant. take him

Comment:

This is the best professor in the Bryant University GFOB program. Period. He has it all. From funny comments, to inspirational stories, Rubin embodies all that Bryant University has to offer for the freshman class. Highly recommend this guy. He is strict and expects the class to be promptual and in shape, while maintaining a casual atmosphere.

Comment:

Everyone has to take GFOB and the business plan will make you work, but Rubin was an amazing professor. Get a good group and don't wait until last minute and the work load won't be terrible. 2 Exams worth 15% each, business plan is 25%, rest is peer evals, case study, and small things. May seem tough at times, but worth any time slot to have Rubin.

One of the most inspirational and best professors. He wants people to do well. Just follow the syllabus to the letter, listen to his instructions, and you'll pass. He'll share some personal stories, one of which can be a tearjerker. Realest professor at Bryant.

I everyone loves Rubin because he's funny. I think his jokes are sad and nobody wants to listen to his divorce story he tells every semester. He puts everything in the syllabus for you to find and if you have a question about it he either won't reply to your email or will just say 'look at syllabus." Enjoys to see students fail. I despise this man.

Hilarious guy. Made class fun & interesting & I still learned so much. He makes you work hard & push yourself but in a good way because class is so fun so he has to make sure everyone is learning too. Start your business plan early so you don't get stuck doing everything last minute which is nearly impossible. A lot of textbook reading. 2 tests.

Super funny and makes the class blow by fast while actually teaching you a lot. Course is a lot of work but he'll always help you when you ask, whether its on the business plan or the exams. One of my favorite professors by far.

He's a very funny guy and really knows what he's talking about. You will have to do a 100 page business plan but he helps out a lot, its in a group, and it isn't too bad The only thing I didn't like about this class was when we were choosing groups and had to say our strengths and weaknesses for strangers so they would choose us.

Beware of pop quizzes. Assigns readings after every class and to make sure you read there's always a possibility of a pop quiz. Pick group effectively at the beginning of the semester as you're stuck with them for the rest of the semester.

Mr. Adam Rubin is one of the greatest men alive. He is absolutely hilarious and there isn't a second when his classes get boring as he's always intent on cracking the whole class up, usually with his self-depreciating jokes. Apart from the humor, he is immensely knowledgeable about the subject and teaches in a very effective way to ensure success.

Rubin is the absolute best. Cares about everyone and wants to see you do well. The man practically lives for the business plan and holds you accountable for everything. Tells the funniest stories and always ties them into class lectures.

Overall, Rubin is a great professor but the course itself is a lot of work. He is very critical when presentations aren't done the way he wants it. Most important thing in this class, pick a good group because your grade depends on it. Lots of pop quizzes and tons of grades that are put in (out of 1000 points).

Professor Rubin truly is a great man. He is very helpful throughout the transition to college and really wants to see his students thrive. The business plan project is a lot of work, but he grades it largely based on how hard you worked. He has a great sense of humor and loves to crack jokes during class. GFOB is required, so might as well enjoy it

Rubin is the man. His lectures are often times hilarious while remaining very informative. He manages to pack a lot of content into an hour and fifteen minutes. The class, in general, requires an incredible amount of work, so be prepared for that and choose your group wisely.

Rubin is an great teacher and in class discussions are very interesting. He is great at conveying information to students so they understand. His syllabus is out of order so you sometimes get confused on what is due, and the work load is very excessive. You will have to work for it, but he cares about you and will give help. Best teacher I took

Adam Rubin is by far one of the best professors at Bryant. He is funny, inspirational, and really cares about your grade. Class is never boring so you actually look forward to showing up. He isn't difficult but isn't too easy either. He is the best GFOB professor, no debate. The class itself isn't hard but requires quite a bit of work.

Professor Rubin makes an hour and fifteen minutes of non-interesting course work fly by. He keeps the entire class entertained during lectures. He also truly cares about your grade, and gives plenty of slack and assistance where it is due. He is my favorite professor that I have had in college, and you will leave his class educated and entertained.
