Comment:

Pros: (1.) Due dates were well paced, (2.) Opportunity for extra credit (3.) Professor is accessible. Cons: (1.) The Paradigm textbook is frustratingly and painstakingly worded (2.) Seriously, who wrote this book (3.) This is a basic course, you can basically play around to make the product your company is looking for without this course.

He was a good professor you just had to reach out. Use the discussion board whenever you have questions because the students and professor will answer if they know. Read assignments carefully. You will have to download the programs listed. You will need to email the professor through blackboard often, but it varies when he will answer you.

Comment:

Took his online photoshop class. Had a lot of end of chapter assignments for an outdated textbook but he went easy on the grading. Fast grader and fast replies. End of semester project instead of final using techniques learned. Prefer his class over other instructors.

Have you ever been inspired to learn how to make Games? I took both Mult 112 and 114. Let me give you the run down. One outdated book called "Unity in 24hrs" 1months content split into 2 semesters. Dull , boring, did I say outdated already? If you really want to learn, watch developer channels at youtube. I am not even sure he even plays games.

He is the most responsive online teacher I've ever had. He gets back to you in less than 24 hours most of the time. He grades your stuff right away. The only issue I had: there are lessons in the chapters that are obsolete and we were not told to skip them. Toward the end he got better about telling us what to skip. Not hard, just ask questions.

Initially intimidated from reading reviews on the first day of class, but he is a great professor and is more than willing to help if you have a question. Trust me I raised my hand like 10 times each class, and he helped me with every single question that I had! Super chill and relaxed as well.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the same satisfaction as my 3D animation class. Class was often stressful for me and as far as "help" goes, he often refers you to the book, which in itself baffled me even more because it made no sense unless you've used Flash before. I can't recommend this to anyone. : I wouldn't recommend his online class.

This person was entirely too fast and expected more from a beginner than was possible.Did not make himself clear,failed to communicate with students.referred us to 4th flr LRC,computers were limited and they were always taken, and he was told. points were not clear on the website. He simply did not care. didn't care for this person at all!!!

Clearly another online class taught by an "auto-pilot" instructor. Emphasized how his personal life was more important than teaching, took several days (sometimes weeks) to reply to student inquiries, and is more concerned with due dates than about the quality of the student's work.

He's not the most clear of professors, which can be challenging. There were a couple of times where he graded me down, but then graded me up when I asked for a reason... Weird. You will learn a lot about Flash though, and it's a challenging course. If you feel you need more guidance, I'd suggest another professor, but he's not too bad overall.

I toke MULT 114: Flash and 116: Actionscript online simultaneously with him. He is a very good teacher, not always 100% clear but willing to clarify. His written English is not perfect, it's his second language like mine. He is helpful and take late assignments. Sometimes his answers take a few days. His class is the hardest class I ever toke.

Took Multimedia 101 and 112 and enjoyed his teaching style. All the comments left here previous to mine I agree with 100%. Not an easy A, but not a difficult A, either. He is great teacher and I learned a great deal! (In both classes: No tests, all projects and one written paper)

Awesome instructor! Alfonso really knows his stuff when it comes to Flash. He returns emails in a timely manner and is there to help you whenever you come across something you don't understand. (He's also a great animation instructor...he taught Lightwave at the time.)

Took this class online. I had no problems, his homework was straight foward, and all deadlines were posted early. He lets you work through as fast as you want...in other words all material and homework is assigned as soon as the class started, so you didn't have to wait to get assignments. The book he used was easy to follow as well.

While this is not a cake-walk level class, Prof. is clear, fair, and most concerned with students actually learning, not just performing for grades. Flash isn't easy, but this guy can certainly help you learn it in a fun and fair way. Don't miss this class/prof!
