Mrs. Munson is my favorite all time English & Creative Writing teacher. I took several of her classes in the early 1980s. Loved her creative thought process and looked forward to classes. I was her "science student" in class ... Rountree :).

Yes, she does seem to ramble a bit, but she does know her stuff. The reading selection was great, very well thought out. If you go to class and pay attention, the tests really aren't all that hard.

Mrs. Alice Munson is pretty tough and boring in a way. However, it is not impossible to pass her class like most people said. I reccommend you to study literature terms online and every handouts she gives to you. Be more aggressive and ask questions if needed. Mrs. Munson only would help the ones she knows that are doing their best in her class

Munson is not the best of professors. Throughout the semester I constantly got confused and wasn't sure what to do. She doesn't explain things very well, and isn't much help when you ask her either. She seemed to pick favorite students a little as well. Attendance was taken every class, too. All that said, she was still polite, just very unclear.

Alice Ann is a good teacher. She can get of topic easily in class, but she gives you hand outs with all the information needed for tests. She also gives you a study guide for most of the books and she will help you fill out in class. And the work was not hard. I am not an English major but I made an A on every assignment!

She is a lovely woman. Her selections for reading in class are well thought-out, lectures are open-ended and productive, and assignments are not needlessly difficult, but rather push the student to achieve on a higher lever. (It is important to note that I am an English major, and cannot speak for those taking a core lit outside of their area.)

she is a good teacher and yes her test are hard but if you take very good precise notes you will do well i swear i did i made an A and i think i made a c and a b on the first two test and i pulled my grade up because i figured out how she test...anyone can do well.

This professor doesn't really teach. She expects you to read the material and understand it on your own. What she talks about in class has nothing to do with what is on the test, and the tests are HARD!
