Class is super straightforward. Read 1 chapter and take 1 quiz each week. There's 6 discussion posts and only the last one needed you to reply to a post. Midterm and final could be taken twice for the higher score. One 2000 word essay. Dropped 3 lowest quiz scores and lowest discussion score. Not much involvement from the Prof, but got by fine.

Honestly, the class overall wasn't horrible. He was just tough on my group because they kept skipping class so he made all the quizzes and exams in class. As long as you memorize the vocabulary for each chapter you'll be fine for quizzes and exams. Also, makes you write a big 2000 word essay, you should take this essay very seriously, worth a lot.

If you fail his class you are either lazy or put in NO effort. As long as you do every assignment you CANNOT fail. He drops 3 of 16 quizzes, 1 of 6 discussions, allows you to take tests 2X for the higher grade. The course was online, so yeah, you must buy the book and read but each chapter is only like 30 pages and this is college. Great Class.

Prof. Q is ok. There is 6 discussion posts (which you don't need to reply to anyone), 16 quizzes, and 2 tests. In order to pass all the quizzes you must read the textbook cover to cover. There is also a 2000 word paper to write. He also makes his political beliefs well known in class. He is very economically conservative but socially liberal.

I could probably do his job, just assign things and not answer emails or give feedback. Emailed him 4 times all semester never got a response. SO MUCH reading for a 10 question quiz.

Overall easy course. A few discussions every other week. 10 question quiz due every sunday. Super easy, you can google the answers, some might be wrong so check textbook as well. You have to read full chapters. 2000 word essay due before the final. Final and Midterm are easy, involves vocabulary, multiple choice & 2 essay questions. Take HIM.

He is the best Valencia professor I have had so far. So knowledgeable in the topic and it's impossible to fail the class, he drops you lowest test, and 2 lowest assignments, and lots of extra credit! Answers emails fast and addressees any questions. Not to mention he is HILARIOUS. Take him

I took this class online for six weeks and it wasn't too much work. It consisted of quizzes, discussions (you don't have to respond to others) and a research paper. If you use the practice quizzes you'll pass the graded ones and the discussions are short and easy. He's not a harsh grader and provides feedback. Just don't slack off!

There's a quiz every week, mid-term, final and 2000 word paper. This was one of the hardest online classes I have ever taken. You have to read one chapter (40-45 pages) a week and the quiz at the end of the week is on the smallest details of the chapter. Overall, get ready to do a lot of reading and make quizlet your best-friend. Lots of extra cred

I took his class over the summer online, & it was A LOT OF DETAILED READING! You have a quiz weekly & he drops the 2 lowest grades. You also have a midterm & final that is each over 8 chapters w/ 2 attempts at each. Take GOOD notes from the book and companion website. All tests are multiple choice w/out a study guide. There's also a 2000 word paper

When I first started this course I wanted to cry because of how hard it was but once I got to talk with the professor it turned out much better. His quizzes are so hard but somehow I still managed to get an A. He drops two lowest quiz grades and offers lots of extra credit. He is very nice and cares for his students but I'm glad this course is done

took him at UCF fall 2017. He gives 0 extra credit at all. He takes attendance and if you even miss 1 class your attendance will go from a 100 to a 94. He gives weekly quizzes and BEWARE he sent an email to his spring class saying since he knows we cheated his fall class will be different so good luck. His tests are difficult, super weird wording.

Took online. Wish I would have taken on campus with a different professor. Failed miserably the midterm and final and emailed him regarding extra credit. At end of semester he offered one extra credit worth 10 points which did nothing to my two failing grades. Quizzes every week, some I passed others I did not. Do not recommend him online.

I have taken this professor twice now and he is very fair and understanding. His tests can be challenging but midterms and finals always are. He offers extra credit, drops low scores and even lets you do some assignments twice keeping the high score. Anyone who says otherwise has an ax to grind.

I took his class on campus & he is very lecture heavy. You go to class, take notes, go home. You have weekly quizzes, discussions every few weeks a midterm & a final which he doesn't give a study guide for. I managed an A in this class because he does offer a LOT of extra credit. A lot meaning enough for a whole letter grade. Just very boring class
