She's an amazing professor who cares about all her students. Classes are discussion-based, so you'll get more out of it if you come to class and participate. I love her. She's the friendliest professor I've ever had. She cares about her field and her students and is extremely supportive. Class is always interesting. She's a bit of an easy grader. See her in person and she's extremely helpful. But don't hold your breath waiting for her to respond to your emails. She doesn't.

Most amazing professor!! By far my favorite of all times. Class feels more like family than peers, she seems more of a friend than professor. Do the readings! She is great, but make sure you have something to say in class to help facilitate the discussion and she'll love you!

Her women in society class is the best class I have taken in college to date and I am now a senior. She encourages discussion and is compassionate to students & their individual needs. My whole view about women's roles changed dramatically after this class. I learned so much. I miss her!

She's sweet, but very easy. I've hear that she's more challenging in other courses, but not here. She's also very pro-feminist and all about our 'corrupt' system keeping women/minorities/the poor 'down.' It kind of drags after a while. Also, attendance isn't really all that important, but you start to feel bad about skipping on her

Dr. Garcia is simply wonderful! I am hardly the best student, but she is patient and genuinely wants YOU to do well. It isn't as if she herself is trying to further her reputation. I love her! If you can take any class that she teaches, do it. I promise, you won't regret it. Gays and Lesbians in Amer. Society was amazing! I thank her for that.

Ana is simply the most amazing professor in the universe. She explains things very cleary, is beyond helpful, and fascinating to listen to and get into discussions with. She also makes a point to get to KNOW all of her students and becomes invested in personal progress. And who doesn't love her ADORABLE little boy Lucas???

Garcia tends to teach classes where she's preaching to the chior. Her soc. class are a bunch of people getting together to lament the world sitation. Having said that, she does that well and is quite a character. Plus, she does handle oposition well.
