Sets a tough pace so you gotta keep up, but he's fantastic. You'll walk away a better writer without a doubt. He makes it hard but just do exactly what he asks and you'll be golden.

Demanding indeed, but he is completely worth it if only for the chance to hear one of NU's few bluntly analytical minds drop science on a subject that could be totally turgid and banal. Follow his examples and you're SET.

A great teacher who is smart and helpful, but EXTREMELY DEMANDING. Don't expect to have a life if you take his class. You will have so much work, and he is a very tough grader.
