He is awkward but just be respectful and do your work. Try to participate as much as you can since he likes to pick people out. Also DO NOT TALK during class. A ton of dumb immature students would do that and he would get really annoyed but would never tell them anything which was annoying. BE RESPECTFUL.

He kind of reminds me of a Battle Droid from starwars. But in all seriousness, he's a good choice if you're not really good at math. I have struggled with math all my life and I can finally feel confident about my decent basic math skills that I picked up in this class.

Funniest professor I have ever taken. He gives a study guide of all the questions in mathXL that will be on the test which is very helpful. Do your work, be respectful, take notes, and try to participate and you will do fine in the class.

Very clear and funny professor. He made class extremely entertaining. He also gives you all you need to study for an exam which was a great help. He is a bit awkward when trying to to talk to though so just keep that in mind. Also dont use your cellphone in class he get really annoyed of that. Be respectful and do your work and you should be fine.

Professor is extremely good at math and makes it look easy. Made adjustments for the class if class didnt understand certain sections.I would take the professors class again

I took His Math 101 class over summer, in the morning. Never fell asleep, he is funny and individualist. He gave Extra Credit for viewing very helpful advice on blackboard, & being engaged in class for last days. He did start picking on people that where unprepared. Made me unconfortable. Otherwise, greatest professor I have had!

Took him for the Summer, his class is all test based. He does assign homework but never collects it, I'd say that you need to do a majority of it to do well on the test. He'll drop the lowest test score as long as you miss less than 6 hours of class. Overall, he's pretty easy and tries way to hard to be funny.

I didn't enjoy taking his class, he tried to be funny but he wasn't. He would ask me the same question every single class meeting, I gave him the same answer every time and he would say " oh darn" and people would laugh. So i didn't enjoy being his little inside joke. All notes and a lot of word problems. Honestly I wouldn't recommend.

very good at explaining, must buy math xl but no book, not to found of questions but will answer, he's a very funny teacher and attendance is only required to pass for tests. there are 3 test and the highest 2 grades are counted for you final grade ONLY.. If he was teaching math for my next course Id take him, its a shame he's not. Next semester.

This guy is a real piece of work. His antics are consistent throughout the entire semester which makes his jokes very predictable but he's a riot. While his teaching methods are... eccentric... he does allow you to work on hw during his lecture in order to understand what it is you're doing instead of stressing over it when you get home.

I had the pleasure of having Professor Schraff for a couple of Math classes. He is a very good instructor but tends to hate answering questions from the audience. On exams with incorrect answers he will make condescending remarks instead of explaining where you went wrong. If Math is your weak point take Andrew Medin.

If you have trouble understanding math he is the PERFECT teacher. Hes extremely clear, color codes the work for you on the board so that you can see EACH step. All you gotta do is show up pay attention and do your homework and your basically set. BEST math teacher hands down.
