Everything on the tests are from your notes. If you took good notes in class, you should be fine. Theres extra credit where you play jeopardy and the points you get on the game will be added to your test grades. It really helps a lot. Three tests in total. There's one take home test and the rest in class.

Professor Kettle is by far the best professor I've ever had. Unlike many professors, he knows the subject inside and out and knows how to teach it. I took his macro and microeconomics classes and learned great a deal of a great deal from them. I would definitely take this teacher again for any class.

Participation is key. I took Microeconomics and Macroeconomics with him in the same semester. Lectures are great but the tests are not super easy, you better study. I got an A in both. Professor Kettle doesn't waste your time, his classes are concise and interactive. Great Professor!

One of the best professors at PSC. He's hilarious and loves teaching economics. There are 3 tests and he does group jeopardy to review for the tests. Try in jeopardy because the extra credit will come in handy. Textbook is not needed, everything comes from the powerpoints so take good notes! Easy A if you study and do well on the tests.

Professor Kettle made learning Economics enjoyable. He used current data as examples during lectures. Group jeopardy was fun and his study guides for the tests were extremely relevant. Kind of disappointed I dont need Micro for my degree because Id love to take him again.

Amazing professor. Funny, kind, and knowledgeable. Minimal assignments (just 3 tests) and a laid-back atmosphere. Easy A and worth both my time and money. Also, no textbook required which was a plus. Refreshing to actually learn something in a class versus being bombarded with "busy work". Would 100% pick him as a professor again.

Prof. Kettle was amazing. At the beginning of the semester, he lays out his grading criteria pretty clearly. Basically the class is out of 500 points. Test 1 100 pts. Test 2 100 pts. Test 3 200 pts. Participation(basically showing up to class)100 pts. The class before each test, you play jeopardy as a review & get HELLA EXTRA CREDIT.

He is very flexible/forgiving when it comes to grading. He gives great opportunities for extra credit. Also, for those looking to gain some actual knowledge from the class versus just getting an easy A, he is very knowledgeable and does a great job teaching the material. Would gladly take his class again!

Professor Kettle is amazing. There were only three tests, one of which is the final and another is a take home test. He gives a lot of extra credit. Be prepared to work with others to receive your extra credit. Jeopardy will be your life-line. No book required, just take good notes. Attendance is graded. I would definitely take him again.

This is honestly the easiest A I have ever gotten. Not even because he is easy, but because he is incredibly thorough so if you fail, you did that to yourself. He can be a bit heavy of lectures, but he is a funny guy. I'm taking him for Micro next semester.

There are NO HOMEWORK assignments in this class so attendance is extremely important. Professor Kettle is an excellent teacher and is always willing to stay after class to assist you. This class has 3 tests with an extra credit Jeopardy match prior to each test to prepare you. You will not regret taking this professor because he makes learning fun.

Took him for Macro-Econ, seemed easy enough but his tests can be brutal if you don't study enough. He really tries to simplify the concepts so you can understand them, so much so that he doesn't require a textbook. If you are in a pinch, the Jeopardy reviews can really help. Make sure your team is good! Overall, it's pretty easy to make an A.
