Comment:

Angela is an amazing and caring professor. I took her last spring and really enjoyed her lectures. She brought us candy from Ireland and always made sure not to give us HW. Our "tests" were online over Canvas, and she didn't care if you looked the answers up. She knows you are stressing about other classes.

Took this as an online summer course and it was awesome!! Doesn't take up too much time every week, one discussion post per week and 3 quizzes throughout the semester and that's it. Use the textbook for your discussion posts and quizlet has everything else.

Comment:

Professor O'Donnell was one of the most insightful professors that I have taken at Rutgers. If you are going into the education program, I really suggest taking her! She is there for advising you into the profession and grades based on just the material she teachers.

You don't really need to go to class because she puts the PowerPoints online. I needed an extension on a paper (she put the due date for a Thursday and was accepting through the next Tuesday and I asked that Monday) and she gave me another week without docking a single point.

Easiest class I have ever taken, 2 easy quizzes with the questions all from the reviews she puts online. 1 easy paper, 1 online assignment, you pretty much get a 100 for completing. and one final. extra credit if you attend the correct classes, attendance isnt mandatory. I would 100 percent recommend taking this course.

If you go to class, don't forget to bring your pillow. The few times I went to class I left early, or stayed and contemplated blowing my brains out the entire time. She's so dry its very difficult to stay awake. Without going to class still managed to overcome the odds and get good grades on the quizzes. Easy. Highly recommend skipping class.

She is absolutely hysterical. She cracks jokes in her Irish accent deadpan without flinching. I can't sit through her class without laughing out loud. Very knowledgeable and nice. LOTS of reading.

She's wonderful. Attendance isn't mandatory and her slides are posted online. GIVES SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT. her lectures are boring but they're helpful and essential for the EC. shes so nice and ALWAYS willing to help you. 3 easy quizzes, paper on your film choice, an online activity and final. the easiest A ever. take her for EDU and a GPA booster

Comment:

O'Donnell is witty, and very helpful as a teacher. She teaches what she knows from experience and shares her stories with you. The lectures can be dry but I feel more confidant about being a teacher now. Her exams are multiple choice and short answer. If you study, you'll do fine. She has an Irish accent, but it's relatively easy to understand.

Good professor. I missed a final once and she was completely helpful. let me even take it on the day of my choosing. Lots of funny self deprecating stories about ireland. Subject material can be a bit dense but all told im glad i took the class.

O'Donnell is great! She is one of the writers of the textbook, and her slides are the same as book. If you go to class it is not necessary to read, but will probably help. This class is not hard if you go to class and study a bit for the quizzes. She also incorporates stories of her experiences as an educator into her lecture. Loved her

Awesome professor. Tells great stories about Ireland and interesting lessons dealing with the topic. Her lectures are right off slides and doesn't get boring. Keeps it interesting. Funny inside and out of class, if you think she is unfair and degrating you look into what shes saying too much, she is funny and sarcastic not in a malicious manner

Although the class was a bit boring at times, I really did like Professor ODonnell. Her tests were usually easy and straightforward, and she was a very lenient grader. She cracked jokes quite often, which made the class a bit more fun and interesting. I would recommend her.

I took this course in the summer.It was 3.5hrs long.That was the only downfall.I loved this class.The professor is fantastic.Makes the time go by quickly,Funny,and knows her stuff.She is extremely fair.She gives you handouts on what u need to know.If you follow it,youll do great.Shes willing to help and thats important.Def. I never wrote on these things before but i had to stick up for professor odonnell! I love her class, find it pretty interesting, and think that it's pretty easy. I think how she sets up the class is great, if you pay attention and follow the syllabus you'll do well. i recommend her and think whoever gave her a ad rating was extremely off!
