Comment:

Professor Phillips is a nice woman, but her class is very boring. You just take notes all class and she writes them out on a projector so she doesn't use Power point until online classes started. This class is strangely hard you might not expect it at first since class is just taking notes, but the quizzes are pretty tough.

I honestly think she's pretty great. Is it the easiest class? No, but it's not the hardest either. Lecture heavy with all you do is take notes, but if you really take time to study and do the textbook readings you should be fine. She offers extra credit that can raise your final average by a point and an easy project. Deff come to class to pass tho

Class is all over the place. Lowest quiz grades get dropped but the exams and quizzes are extremely specific. She makes it seem like even the most random things are important. Exams and quizzes are based off class lectures only and can often be confusing or just boring.

shes sweet. passionate. But when it comes to teaching, this class is hard as a damn rock. LET ME TELL YOU. Seems like bryants entire science dept is just taking notes off the board. YOU DO NOT LEARN! I am terrible at memorization and bombed almost everything. TAKE WHITAKER IF BETWEEN THE TWO. project helps somewhat. she kinda screwed me too.

Her class has no structure all her notes are hand written so its impossible to narrow them into specific chapters. Study guide provided is horrible, tests on everything including the smallest ex from the notes. If ur a business major looking for an easy A in a required science class, don't get tricked by the other reviews like I was & dont take her

Wonderful professor! She definitely does not hand out A's but if you go to class and pay attention, you should be fine. She is always available and willing to explain things further if needed. I'd take her again.

She's the cutest thing but don't let her fool you, this class isn't an easy A. She writes a LOT of notes on the board, expect anywhere from 1-4 pages of written notes per class. But she gives you study guides for each quiz&exam and it's basically all from the notes, and then one group project at the end. Overall, not a bad class and good professor

Such a cute little old lady who clearly loves to teach. Her voice can get annoying but she is very clear and tends to repeat a lot of things which helps me retain the information. 3 quizzes and 2 exams make up the entire grade and 97% of the content is notes from her lectures. Attendance isn't mandatory but very important if you want a good grade.

2 exams that are mult choice with a few short answer. 3 quizzes and lowest gets dropped. one project that can be done with a partner. her quizzes and exams are very detail oriented. you need to be able to memorize everything in the notes, if you can do that the class is fairly easy. takes random attendance but not mandatory. would take her again.

She's a nice lady without a doubt and willing to help. However, her class is all lecture and copying notes from the board. Easy B, maybe even an A but it will bore you to death. She also paces back and forth throughout the entire class which made me nervous and dizzy at times

Very nice lady, easy class. No homework, 3 quizzes a midterm and a final. Drops the lowest quiz grade. Great lectures, super clear about what will be on the tests and how she will grade them. If you go to class, take notes and study you will definitely get an A in this class. Shes great, take her!

Ecology was supposed to be a breeze, but she asks such specific questions on the quizzes. 3 quizzes, dropped lowest grade, midterm, final, and 1 project. Project is easy as well as the presentation, no more than 5 mins. Readings are only for quizzes and tests. Enthusiastic and overall nice person, but wouldn't recommend the class. Very boring!

Attend class and you will do fine as long as you write down everything she writes down and study it before exams because that is what is on the exams. Midterm was only 39 questions and she drops the lowest of 4 quizzes. Attendance isn't mandatory but go if you want to do well or if you know someone who will have the notes then don't bother.

Definitly take her. Got an A and all i did was study the night before exams. Not hard, class takes up no time. Quiz questions and test questions are kina b.s. in how they are phrased (you will know what i mean later)Just make sure to know the notes, every word of them, and you will do great.
