Phillips is a really friendly, well-meaning guy. Used to be a counselor at Bryant, so he has experience. That said, the class can be challenging, as it is test heavy. Tests are mostly MC and T/F, but are VERY long (70+ questions). Be prepared to cram. Lectures can be boring, but note taking is vital. The best notes in the class get the best scores.

Phillips makes every lecture interesting and easy to relate to. If you listen and take notes you will do very well in the class. 3 big exams (multiple choice and true/false) and one project. Says textbook is required but only a few questions on test come from there and you can get a good grade without it.

Professor Phillips just has this way about him that actually made me really excited every single week to go to a night class for almost 3 hours and listen to him lecture about psychology. He is just such a naturally funny, down-to-earth person, and I very much enjoyed having him as a professor. Because of him, I am considering minoring in psych now

Best professor I have had here at bryant. His night class is the best way to go. It flies by on a weekly basis and always knows how to make the class laugh with some hilarious real life examples.

Professor Phillips is the best!! His night class flies by, and as long as you take good notes you will do well. If you want an A, you might have to read the chapters he assigns. Overall, the class is great and hes awesome. Highly recommend.

He's probably one of the best psychology professors at the school. His tests are kind of hard because they're all multiple choice, but there's only three and no final. He is really funny and definitely relates to the students. Take his night class; it's not bad and attendance is not mandatory.

Professor Phillips is awesome. He barerly uses his textbook, and gives extremely helpful notes, not ambigious notes like most psychology professors. Uses amazing examples!!! Take this class if at all possible, although seats will fill fast. Three tests, study hard, and you will done fine.

he really is the man...he loves the subject and relates everything to a real life situation. even though its a night class he gives 15min breaks and really does make the time fly by. exams can be tricky becasue they are all multiple choice and he barely uses the book, but a few exam questions are from it................HIGHLY RECCOMEND

He is the man. I love this man, he's hilarious, he relates to college students. He makes the class interesting and is always in a good mood. There to help you and very easy to understand. My favorite professor freshman year. Only has three grades and they are tricky exams.
