Mr. B is the best math professor Ive ever had! Ive struggled with math and algebra since middle school. I dropped math 120 three times because I could not grasp the material. Taking math 129 was great because it went over everything that I hadnt properly learned before. It helps to have class 5 days a week as well. Im so glad I took this class!

There is a quiz almost every day, and they HEAVILY reflect the test material. Study the quizzes and you will do well on the tests. One test is dropped from your final grade. Very fair and straight forward professor. I barely made it through calc2 and I have a high B in this class.

This teacher makes learning math almost impossible. He teaches Algebra on a Calculus level. He says he will help you to get a better grade and understand the material and really won't. I wouldn't recommend him unless you are very good at mathematics.

"you get what you earn"well this professor earns a "F-" he doesnt even teach just goes over things but will not answer questions and the book he wrote is mediocre he isnt funny either just discouraging and difficult to deal with

Overall horrendous teaching that will not help you in any way totally a waste of time his jokes are mediocre and he is NOT funny everyone fake laughed to get on his good side but not even that will help you no extra credit what he tells you to write on note card will not be of any use because the exams are nothing like the lecture self teach is all

9units seems overwhelming but prof makes it easy. Unfortunately I had to take the class twice. 1st go around I didnt utilize the notecards for exams. 2nd go around I did from the beginning. Best math professor by far. I couldve gotten an A or B had I shown up to class more. Your daily quizzes are what will be on your exams. TAKE HIM! Great prof.

A very old-fashioned kind of teacher. All paper and pencil, no online portion. If you're like me and you don't care for online school, this class is perfect for you. The class is rigorous, but Mr. Barcellos will give you everything you need to excel if you show up everyday. Highly, highly recommend his math 129 class to anyone finishing algebra.

He taught the class as if hes ready to retire. Didnt prepare anyone well for calculus who is new to trigonometry. First semester ARC offered math 372/373 and hes easy to pass because of notecards and easy exams but he wont prepare you well for calculus. He doesnt even teach the section material, just asks if anyone has any homework questions.

One of the coolest professors Ive taken at ARC so far, and this is certified by a cool kid that did make it this far Mr Barcellos ;). He was funny and quizzes and notecard were the key to passing his class. More than the math, I enjoyed learning interesting history facts, even though I love math. Really nice interesting professor.

Professor Barcellos is a very straightforward teacher. Be ready to take quiz on every meeting but his quizzes are simple and exams based on them including finals. Homework is due on Exam but not big chunk of grades. I would say focus on quizzes not homework then you can get A. His lectures are amazing but quite fast.
