Dr. Brownlee is an ok professor. Very intelligent and knows what hes teaching. It just the way its conveyed in his exams is not favorable at all for his students. I truly believe there is a better way for students to learn the information in lecture and a better format of his tests would help too.

Love Dr. Brownlee. I had him for both A&P I, II and both labs. If you skip class and do not get the notes, you probably will fail his tests since it's mostly from lecture. Rarely used the textbook. Take very good notes, and study a lot! The tests are very specific, some multiple choice, mostly fill in the blank. Lab practicals are very hard! STUDY

You have very little chances to do well. He is difficult and speaks at the same level with no excitement. Tests are super hard and take a lot of time and dedication to do even perform decently. I'm not trying to bash him but he really doesn't show that he cares. Goes over pointless things in depth and you don't really learn. You are on your own.

This was one of the most difficult classes I have ever taken. It's 100% memorization but it is extremely in depth so studying for exams takes weeks. He's a very intelligent professor, his notes are a bit disorganized but his exams cover basically everything mentioned in class so write down everything he says even if it's not written on the board.

This class was DIFFICULT! Did not enjoy A&P1 at all - it seemed to be a chore rather than a course I wanted to take. He is nice, however, but he makes you work for your grade. Extremely monotonous and you have very few chances to do well. If you can stand a long, boring, and tedious lecture, then by all means take him.

I had Dr. Brownlee for Anatomy and Physiology II, he is a great professor! He goes through the material very slowly, however that makes it very easy to understand. He only had two tests, a final and homework that counts toward the grade so you need to study in order to pass his class.

Tough professor, but has high expectations for you as a student. He knows his stuff and knows it very well, don't let his age fool you. You have two tests and one final with homework that accounts for seven percent of your grade, so you have only three chances to make a good grade. Please study and study hard in order to do well.

Really good Professor! The key to passing this class is to just STUDY! Brownlee is very clear and gets straight to the point and can be pretty entertaining. The class can be tough due to the loads of information you have to know but if you study and keep up with the material, you'll be fine! Exams are usually straight from lecture notes.

Dr. Brownlee is an amazing professor. I put a LOT of work into this class (also took General Bio 2 from him). I definitely pulled a few all-nighters studying for the exam, but as I am studying for the MCAT now, I am so grateful for the rigor involved in the course. Definitely not an easy professor, but worth it.. in my opinion.

Well this is hands down one of the TOUGHEST professors i've taken. BE PREPARED TO SPEND HOURS WITH THE MATERIAL HE GOES OVER. He can be confusing at times. Overall the time you put into his class will reflect your grade. In the end he is one of the best professors. Pushes you to your limits! But the experience is something I will never forget.

Fantastic teacher. Definitely my favorite professor so far. Clearly explains all the material and writes it all out so that you have time to copy it. Draws helpful diagrams and is very good about answering any questions you may have. A&P2 was a very interesting class with him. Take good notes and study well! An A or B is possible :)

Hardest class I've ever taken. I worked my butt off for a B,and am usually an A student. You just have to memorize everything he says and make sure you understand exactly how everything works together because his tests have critical thinking involved. If you dedicate enough time, you can make a decent grade.

Great teacher and artistically talented. Bring colored pencils or pens with at least four colors. The Diagrams aren't on the tests but help with concepts. Everything is from the notes, so flashcards worked well. Tests were short answer and multiple choice. Lab was pretty straight forward and quizzes not too bad.

I took anatomy 1 with a terrible professor, never dreamed a&p could make so much sense. Mr. Brownlee is God sent. He explains everything immaculately well just make sure u take notes & study everything he says. He makes things easy in explanation but the subject is a hard subject so study. But pay attention in class. Leave phones in cars if need be

He is very clear in his notes so pay heavy attention to his lectures. Reading the textbook is very minimal unless you need further help to understand certain material. Just stay focus in class, don't cram and cloud your mind by reading the textbook page by page, and don't hesitate to confront him with doubts. Best science professor!

Awesome professor! I'm not a fan of science but Dr. Brownlee made A&P 2 so interesting! Be prepared to take a lot of notes. You take your own notes but he writes everything you have to know on the board. He is very clear in everything he says and illustrates for better understanding. Tests are not that difficult if you study and lab is super easy!

I absolutely loved Dr. Brownlee's class. He doesnt teach you anything without explaining the "Why" of it. Tests can be challenging, but if you pay attention he'll teach you everything you need to know for it. He is the by far the greatest teacher I have ever had, and would gladly take any class he teaches, even if its not required,Strongly Recomend
