She was AWFUL. She came in as a replacement and completely changed the syllabus the original professor had set, then cut out most of the editing process for our biggest paper and took points from other assignments/papers we'd spent a lot of time on to make the big paper worth more. Really bad at explaining what she wants. Hope she never subs again

Mezeske is a very fun and curious teacher, she influences you to reach your full potential.With that being said, she is secretly (when grading)opininnated if she has values that disagree with what your subject is about of if she's not familiar, she will not grade based on writing ability, but she will vigorously RIP into your paper.

She is very hard, makes you work for every grade you get, and I loved the class. I was warned by everyone I knew not to take the English 113 because she was tough, but I didn't have any other options, so I did. I don't regret it at all. I learned so much and although she does tear apart your papers...its still a really great learning experience.

Really fun teacher - she's so energetic! The class is really easy because you get to choose your assignments and you can negotiate some of the questions on the daily quizzes. She also lets you out early (supposed to be a 2 hr class but she lets you out 1/2 hour early). Good class, good teacher!

Very Hypocritical. She spells out what she wants from the start and when you give it to her she jumps all over you. She is hard to please and makes you feel very intimidated. I wanted to take this class and now I wish I hadn't, not because of the class itself but because of the professor.

She is very stubborn. Tough grader. She is a nice lady, but she seems to think that we should have an interest in all the readings otherwise we are "short changing our education" (she would fail me for mis quoting that. She is really anal about plaigiarism (like citing things wrong). thumbs down!
