She is very picky. When you have just an average paper she will give you a C. She writes all mover your papers and says things like "Its a Shame"... Kind of makes students feel bad because he or she is not a good writer. You learn not to take what she says personal, at the end of the day once you finish her class you will never see her again.

It's a shame that a University like Monmouth would consider keeping a professor like this on staff. I have never spoken to any other student who would have a positive comment to make about this woman. DON'T take her class. 1st and foremost this class is so unnecessary. 2nd if you are going to take EN112 don't take it with Roshak. She is the hardest teacher ever.She is extremely critical.She grades very harsh!!. She is nice, but nice doesn't cut it.From what i hear not even Dr.Blair is this hard. You will have to go to the Writing Center just to pass this class!!

Prof. Roshak explained every assignment in detail and told of exactly what she wanted and didn't want.She not only corrected mistakes on rough drafts, but allowed revisions of the final draft after correcting and grading.She was accepting of our opinions on assigments and was willing to push back due dates.Great teacher don't let anyone fool you.

ive only been in this class for a few weeks and i can honestly say i truly despise this woman. she continuously berates her students, telling them on the first day they will not ever receive an A grade.She is extremely discouraging and takes pride in telling students that they arent bad people if they fail her class(bc u will) dont take this class

Basically i worked my butt off for this class. She even told me that she knew I was a hard worker and that she saw improvement in my work. She gives C's out on essays like they are good grades. I met with her after the last class and she told me I got a final grade of a C+ with a smile on her face. dont take her, shes horrible.

She is such a sweetheart who is always willing to help. She is extremely understanding. If you get into the class dicussions, it gets you into the papers you will write. Very fair grader! Really prepares you without being extremely difficult!!!
