Comment:

I like how passionate she is about art but she is a tough grader and does not write down notes for the class. Also, she presents slides that are necessary for the test but she only shows it once on a projector and does not hand it out to the class. You need the textbook with you everyday or she calls you out on it.

Comment:

I actually really like her class. Just be prepared to either spend a whole month on one time period in art history (like Egypt. Ancient Egypt took FOREVER) or like an actual day right before the exam. She has really cool slides though and a lot of little anecdotes. You can tell she enjoys what she's teaching. I learned a lot.

The class has 4-5 quizzes. There is a research paper too She goes over the material and then shows you slides of several artists. Be forewarned that you might get questions with information that she only went over for a brief time. The class was really difficult because of this. She's not good at making quizzes.

Although I didn't care much for her, she automatically picked-up my attitude to persevere. She also felt that as a talented student (I), what is there to teach. Upon graduate, I was accepted by prestigious art college/universities without her recommendation which was not surprising on my behalf. In a nut shell, she is an average art instructor.

I do not recommend her. She also expects you to be highly artistic. This lady seems to never be satisfied I tried my best but nothing was good enough for her. She needs to understand that not everyone wants to become an artist I took her class for my major in general science not to become an artist but she will critize you no matter what.

Pogue is the best. I wouldn't take Art class with anybody else. I actually registered for 3D Art and got mixed up and went into her painting class and she let me stay for the whole semester and gave me the choice of picking which class I wanted credit for. She's really easygoing and seems to love her job. Her positive attitude makes anybody smile.

Very helpful teacher, she loves want she does, very intelligent also. At the beginning I didn't like her at all, she tries to scary you, but days was passing by and she is really funny and easy going. Do all your homework, don't be late or miss some class she hates those things!!! also improve your grammar as much as u can.

I liked all the professors that I ve had by now, but I didn t like her. She s not hard, but she doesn t look like she appresiates your work if it s not perfect. Some of her comments are stupid and annoying. She does love art very much and I appresiate that. However, I wouldn t take her again for nothing!

She was an ok teacher. If you don't have a great background in Drawing, or you aren't very Artsy, good luck. She writes all over my work because it "is terrible" and wants it to be her way. Again, if you dont have an Artsy background just do your best, which still does not do it for her.

She is really good, she loves art. The class is pretty easy but you must read the book and take good notes. Read the book, its only 30 pages per chapter. The quizzes are really easy if you read the book and go over the notes. Excellent Prof. Start working on research paper she will correct it for you!!! I got an A in class. She knows her stuff.

One of the best professors I've had. She has a passion for what she teaches and really cares about her student. Gives her attention when you need help. Grades based on progress, which she helps you achieve
