Probably my favorite professor i've ever had. He is very helpful. He can be challenging with grading, but its just for your benefit. I love going to his class and hearing his stories. Very smart man! Looking forward to taking him again for another class.

He doesn't make sense when he's grading. His class is all memorization I got high grades on his midtem and final but that doesn't matter if you did crappy on his "weekly pop quizzes" because they are worth 40% of your grade. The quizzes are worth more then the midterm and final. Save yourself the headache take this class with someone else.

the hype is real! does not give you a good grade unless he likes you! got an A on the midterm and decently on all the quizzes, and still got a C. talks about cocktails all the time and for a comm teacher, doesn't know how to keep a stable relationship. DO NOT TAKE unless you like babbling like him.

Good guy, fun, helpful, class is full of dicussion n mostly easy. Assignments n tests are random, wut he tells u to study is often not wut is on the test and he tends to contradict himself in lectures. Obvious that he comes to class without a plan n just wings it with his life stories. Can be frustrating for people who actually want to learn.

Took him for Interpersonal Communications. Pretty nice and interesting. Class is once a week so yes you would have to attend but he is very helpful if you ask. You must read the book, but his tests are not hard. Just study!!! They are fill in the blank.

Not clear with what he wants. Gave us a test on a chapter we didnt go over in class, we had to read it and that was it. Reviews are YOU asking him questions. Tests are short but hard! Short answers. wtf, what are these comments on barry...he is a great teacher...he is clear and consise and if you have questions, just ask and he will clarify...you have to work a little to understand some stuff but put in some effort and he will repay you. i never got less than an A in any of his classes..u have to actually study..oohhh, grow up and do the work
