Really sweet lady, cares about how you are doing in the class and cares enough to write her notes on the board for you. i loved her teaching style and learned so much in her bio 1108. I will be taking her for another class i liked her style so much.

I truly enjoyed Mrs. Thorntons Biology 1108 course. Keep in mind it is not an easy course, but she truly wants her students to excel. She does her best to keep the course material comical, but still teaches what you need to know very well. I would recommend her to anyone in need of the second half of Biology.

Mrs. Thornton is highly knowledgeable and really knows the material. She doesn't use ppts; she writes all the notes on the board. It may be hard to adapt to her teaching style, but I felt that I learned a lot more in her class than I did in Biol 1107. She really tries her best to prepare you for upper level bio courses. Study the review questions!

Strongly disliked the class! Got a test back and her notes were wrong and I tried to correct her and she said that I should have looked elsewhere for studying instead of just her notes. Very hard tests. was my only B that semester.

Mrs. Thornton is very knowledgeable on her material. She tries hard to prepare students for upper level biology classes. However, you must adapt to her teaching style. Also the review questions took a long time to do and even longer time to learn. At times the notes and review questions made you fell like you were drowning in information.

Thornton is a great teacher. You'll take tons of notes and though attendance is not mandatory you should go to every class or you get behind. Tests aren't easy but fair. She's very funny, and helpful (if you help yourelf). I definitely recommend her

You write a lot of notes in her class and her tests come right from the review questions. The more difficult part is that each chapter review takes 2-3 hours and there are usually a few chapters on each test. She is not trying to trick you and is very knowledgeable and cares about the material.

She is a good teacher IF you like her teaching style. She writes EVERYTHING out on the board every day. No PowerPoints. Just hand-written notes. And she will keep you the entire time, to the last minute, writing notes. The tests aren't too bad and she puts up Chapter Questions online that are helpful when studying. Okay class; would not take again.

You write so many notes every day like 6-8 pages. She is a rude women who makes you feel like you dont even deserve to be in college. Attendance is not mandatory but if you dont come you will lose a lot of information and she will let you know she is mad. Even after all her notes you still have to hunt through the book for answers. STAY AWAY

very good teacher, i loved her teaching style, very understandable and makes sure you get the topic and loves to help her students understand, plus labs were a breeze. but it is in my major, i love biology. she was much better than my previous teachers. my favorite over all of abac teachers
