Yarbrough was the worst professor I've ever had - she's the reason why I quit the econ major.

Just don't do it. Tests are awful, and grading is very unbalanced. Go off campus.

There are particular ways you have to prepare to take her tests - figure them out! Because she will cut you no slack. She really knows her stuff, but the lectures are quite dry. She seems like a great person, but the class is disappointing.

I can imagine that she is incredibly well-versed in her subject matter. However, this was by far the worst class I have ever taken in my life. Unfortunately, the material was badly presented and her inability to effectively measure students' abilities is simply appalling. I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

For the love of (insert your deity here) the micro median for the 2006 spring semester was a 65. Her quizzes are terrible. If you get one part wrong anything afterward is null-void. Partial credit does not exist in any of her testing. Her lectures are so bad they made me just walk out of class. Just wait for Kingston in Spring of 2007.

Boring teacher who has a nice way of setting up the class. As long as you do the work its easy and clear just really really boring. Also you will get nothing you did not expect to learn out of the class except for the application articles (on blackboard) which are intersting.

This Professor gets the job done. She gives monotonous lectures, but is helpful and clear. This trade class, on the other hand, is awful. I learned very little of use in this class and there are virtually no insights I gained that I wouldn't have from reading the text on my own.

Had mini-exam system which was amazing - grade consists of 11 mini-exams which were pretty easy and you could drop 2 of them. If you read the book and listen in class it is the easiest class, but you still learn a lot.

The manner in which she lectures would make it seem as if the exams she writes up are very hard. She overprepares the students for the exams, which I guess is good if you want to really know the material and/or if you want to be an econ major.
