No attendance, no textbook. Theres only 3 things to do in this class:paper, midterm, and project. The paper is super easy, you cant get less than an A. He reviews the midterm with you the class before and he uses the same exam every year. The group project is the only thing he grades seriously, but get a good group like I did and its an easy A.

Comment:

Do well on the few assignments given, which isn't hard to do, and you should get an A. Professor Heath is easy going and although lectures can be a bit dry, if you can take good notes this course will be a breeze.

He is a very nice old man and doesn't require attendance. As long as you work hard on the group project and the one exam given, you will get a good grade.

I would only say this class is solid because attendance is not mandatory and there aren't many requirements. Just a group project, midterm, and a short paper. The project may be annoying to some because you have to find your own partners but overall it's an easy A.

Baruch Bill is an old man with a great sense of humor. He keeps it real and tells you to just pay attention and you will pass. pretty easy A

Easy A. As a non-marketing major, Bill is amazing. One short essay (500 words), one midterm (tells you everything on it), and one group project (very clear and simple). Don't have to attend class or buy the textbook. Don't even have to pay attention, just show up to the midterm review session and he tells you everything on it (33 T/F). Take him!

He's very knowledgable and has a lot to share. But he's boring. Assignments are straight forward. Pretty much an easy A. Perfect for non-marketing majors.

The only reason to take this guy is for an easy A. Class is awkward because he knows all the students by name but yours but it's so easy to get A's on all the assignments so the participation grade become irrelevant. Oh, sometimes he's amusing. I did not learn anything that wasn't common sense though.

Professor Heath is not as bad as everyone claims. He's clear about the material and he only gives you what you actually need to know. He provides study guides, and the questions are identical to the tests. Yes he is boring to listen to, but he's old and he tries. Would recommend.

He thinks he is funny and hip, but he is just an arrogant close-minded person, who comes to class high off painkillers, and cant accept anything that doesn't fit exactly the way was taught- a total failure for someone who thinks he is a professor in marketing.

Interesting assignments and he grades easily. I'm very nervous about my participation grade - I tried to make myself visible throughout the course but it doesn't look like he knows my name, which doesn't bode well. He knows the names of people who participate much less/not at all. He seems to favor those in marketing field under big companies.

Great professor for intro MBA course. Definitely knows his stuff but can be a bit dry at times. 3 case studies and a group project. Should have no problem doing well in the course if you do your work.

Easy class and funny, nice guy. The class is entertaining but you wont learn much. The lectures can get pretty boring and really have nothing to do with anything. And there were not tests, grade was based on a group project and three papers.

Easy class, grade is based on three short papers and a group paper/presentation. no tests/. The lectures are pretty boring and have nothing to do with anything you need for the grade. He is really funny though, and very nice. You just wont learn anything.

The guy doesn't know how to use a computer. Displays the textbook on the board like it's 1978 and talks about each graph on the book for an hour. VERY boring. I didn't learn anything new in this class. No exams, only 3 personal essays and group paper + presentation. If you are interested in Marketing AVOID!!!!

Comment:

After the first 3 classes he stopped taking attendance. He hates when he has to repeat himself, when students asks questions, and when he himself is questioned. On the midterm there was a subjective ques that I tried to argue and his response was "that may be so but no". It's an easy B class, read the textbook, don't go to class-you learn nothing.
