When he would do notes or review for upcoming tests, you're gonna get left behind, he flies through it and there are rarely any paper reviews, you have to scribble it down and no powerpoints. You also have to find the answers for the review yourself and he doesn't give them out. If you are a visual learner good luck with him.

Hardest class I have ever taken. I woke up every single morning and checked my email to see if it was cancelled. Guess what. It never was. He have a quiz almost every day. Im praying for you if you get him.

just dont take him. lots of reading because theres a quiz every class (unless tennessee wins their football game). he gives you everything youll need to know for the test. literally all the questions. but its so much. i would recommend anyone but him.

He was the hardest teacher I have ever had and I have gone to 4 schools. He is very caring and loves talking but his test are specific and so are his quizzes. I read everything he assigned and still almost failed his class. Would not recommend to any freshman for Bible Survey. I have heard his therapy classes are really good though.

I really liked him as a person, but his class was hard. We had quizzes every class over reading material and the quizzes asked the most specific questions that even if you read the text closely you probably wouldn't know the answer. Tests are straight memorization, but he looks for very very specific answers and the tests are very long.

Get ready to prepare for a quiz everyday. Dr. Viser is a big fan of Tennesses football team. Whenever they won a football game, we didnt have a quiz. His quizzes can be pretty tough. He is a very-detailed grader and he asks VERY specific questions (this makes the quizzes tough). His grading scale is different (92A, 81C, 71D).

Sweet man, but his class is kind of difficult. He wants you to read pages of readings, then quiz over the most minute details from the readings. Quizzes every single class, too. Tests are long, and impossible to do too well if you don't study enough. He's hard to get in contact with, through email and outside of class.

Very nice and caring man but his class is incredibly challenging. Pages and pages of reading and quizzes ask minor detail oriented questions. In one word, unorganized. He knows what he is talking about but his lack of use of technology creates a seperation from the class.

You have to read for his class to even be able to do the quizzes, but he is hilarious and really cares for his students. Fun class, but his quizzes that we take everyday are hard. Gives you everything you need to know for test

Dr. Viser is the nicest man you'll meet and I enjoy him as a person, he is very funny and takes interest in you as an individual in truly cares. The class isn't miserable but it's doable. If you do your reading you should be okay.

He is very opiniated and has no desire to hear your take on anything.. Even though he asks. I actually never found out what I made on my Final which was very unprofessional. He came in every day on the phone with a patient and continued to share more about his life than bible survey; however, his tests consisted of more than was covered in class.

You start each class with an obnoxious daily quiz (which you will more than likely fail) that is worth 100 points. Sample Question: "When did God enter the Garden of Eden?" ANSWER: "During the COOL of the day." He is a nice guy though.
