Comment:

I'm glad I took her as my first teacher for Biology. Right off the bat she lets you know what she expects from you. Attendance? It's up to you, but I highly recommend not missing because she goes over the chapters thoroughly and gives you study guides & mini quizzes that you cant make up. Study study study and review your notes. You should be fine!

Comment:

There is 16, fifteen-question quizzes and 5, thirty five-question test. No homework, midterm or final. Quiz every week, test once a month. They have a deadline, however I emailed her if I could makeup late quizzes/test which she let me so i was able to get an A. Answers are on quizlet, all multiple choice. Great for people who don't like science

Very difficult. Quizzes every class, 6 exams, very difficult online homework weekly, labs weekly, in class movies with papers, and discussion boards. It's impossible to do well with the amount of work she gives. After taking this class with her, I'll take BIO 110 at UIC. She acts as if her class is the only class a student takes.

Ms. B gives weekly quizzes which helps keep students accountable and motivated to study, she gives study guides for tests, and is super knowledgeable in all things science and applications in life. She has great stories and also knows the material really well. She's caring and changes tests if students are not ready. Very flexible and awesome

I took her in 96 & I am glad for the opportunity to say I adored her. She is inspiring, caring & overall a great lady. Class was interesting, she always answered questions, was never rude & always approachable. She cares, makes you feel smart & is truly gifted at her craft. If you make an honest effort in her class there is no way you can fail.

she is a very nice teacher. her lectures are not too boring. she is funny and willing to help. gives a lot of notes, but is good when you have to study for her test. her tests and quizzes are a little hard, but not too bad. her labs are long, but she is always willing to help. kind of hard.
