Comment:

Prof. Forbes is a great professor. He has a lot of knowledge and experience in the HR field, and it was great during lectures. He was very fair. Class was stress free. He had a few assignments, easy though. Tests weren't hard either - he went off of his notes he gave us printed off. I would highly recommend! Very friendly and approachable too.

Comment:

Professor Forbes was a great choice for a summer class. Straight to the point in lectures, allowing us to leave earlier than scheduled, but he was thorough with the material. I dont plan on going into the HR field but he helped us understand how HR effects the whole of the business. Attendance not mandatory, but participation was a part of grade.

His real world experience is great, but he did a horrible job with teaching us the material. Only gave us hints on the essay portion of the test which was helpful, but the multiple choice was brutal. not the teacher u want if you want to do well in class. i have a 3.7 GPA and i earned a 2.7 in his class. risky...

Comment:

Pros: tells many stories about his experiences in hr, has great knowledge of the field, class not too demanding, very nice & easy going, lets us out early every day. Cons: Tests are a bit tough, not everything on tests covered in class, attendance is mandatory, plenty of other easy teachers for this class, very tough to 4.0.

Great Professor! He has real world experience & relates every topic to his experiences. Many Great stories. Kept a night class interesting & I actually looked forward to coming. Only three exams, a couple of short case responses, & voila (it was a summer class)! Never held class longer than what was necessary. Covered topic & class dismissed.

I loved this class. He covers what he has to and then class is over. Tells entertaining stories that relate to what he is covering. Flexable and easy going. Don't skip his class it isn't worth it.

Great professor! Never holds you to the end of class. 5 cases (1 page each, easy) and some class prep required. 2 exams. Entertaining and helpful professor, he knows the material well. I'd recommend him to anyone!
