Mrs. Ernest is a really sweet lady. You're grade comes from 2 tests, a few quizzes that you can get extra credit from, and 2 small, fairly easy papers. You NEED the book for these papers, and I had to read the chapters to prepare for the tests, but that may just be because I can't pay much attention in a 3 hr class. Overall pretty easy!

Really enjoyed this class. There are two tests, the midterm and the final. Also a paper based on an interview but it was really easy, I got a 100 on it. Make sure you go to class and study the slides and you will be golden. I would totally recommend her to anyone!

Great teacher. Really cares about what see teaches and that you learn it. Doesn't just read off the slides and really knows her stuff. Great personality. If you have a chance to take her please do you will not regret it.

She is so interested and excited in what she is teaching. She cares about her students and this class. The test are hard, especially if you do not study. But she gives extra credit, DO IT! it's def. worth it. Attendance isn't mandatory but she only helps you if you try and go to class, she tries to help if you care!

The grade is based on 50% 2 tests and the other 50% is a cumulative final. She also gives some extra credit. Be careful. You will need to study a great deal before each of these exams because if you don't do well for some reason, she doesn't give you any leeway. Attendance is not mandatory, but she really dislikes if you do not come to class.

Loved her and this class!! I was in her 2.5 hour class on wednesdays, but she always ended early and kept class interesting!! She puts powerpoints online and gives study guides for the tests and a lot of extra credit! Easy class, but I learned a lot!

Very sweet lady. Gives study guides for tests, and puts powerpoints on Blackboard. Attendance not mandatory so if you miss something, just read the book or refer to the powerpoints. Gives a few extra credit quizzes and an extra credit paper. All definitely help boost your grade! :) Awesome teacher!

she is a very sweet lady and very helpful...she makes study guides for the tests if you do them and study them you will do fine..i've gotten an A on every one...she also offers extra credit quizes on blackboard which are easy and realllly help...they are 5 points each. Very knowledgable and interesting! Def take her!

She is wonderful! Take her because the subject material is interesting and a very good addition to one's knowledge base. Go to class, she elaborates a lot on the powerpoint. Study for tests and do the extra credit and you will do awesome! She has great stories!

One of the easiest classes I have had at ECU. 4 quizzes, one easy paper, midterm and final, LOTS of EC. Uses the pt system...out of 270 pts to get an A, she offered an additional 35 extra credit. Really nice, but very boring. Everything is common sense and I got tired of listening to her... not her fault though, it was a 3 hr night class! Take her!

definitely suggest taking. her test are a little difficult especially since they are 100 questions. however, do all the extra credit, come to class and study and you will get an A. the quizzes arent bad and she keeps you very interesting bc she KNOWS her stuff and has many experiences to share with you!!

Probably the sweetest lady ever.. i want her as my grandmother, the class is interesting and for a 3 hours nite class it goes by very fast. Usually gives a 15 mintue break half way thru and also lets you out early. Theres so much extra credit in this class that its impossible to make less then a B.
