Comment:

She is the most BORING & monotone teacher I have ever had. The good thing is that she didn't take attendance, so I probably went to the class about 6 times out of the semester (including test days.) One of those times, I went on lecture day and she kicked me out for using my phone. Never really went to lectures, so to study for the test I used book

Comment:

Dr. Hall is not understanding AT ALL, even in extreme situations. She does not post notes from lectures online and does not allow any electronics in class. So basically you have to spend every minute writing down everything on the slides instead of listening to what she's saying. Tests aren't bad if you go to class.

Dr. Hall is a nice lady. Her class does get boring but you'll have to suck it up because she doesn't post notes online and attendance is mandatory. As long as you are putting in effort you'll be fine. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. Go to class because she even says "I make the tests off of what we talk about." Literally write down everything on the slides.

I found this class to be extremely easy. Attendance is mandatory plus that is the only way to get the notes since she doesn't post them on blackboard. She gives two extra credit quizzes during the semester which are five points each. As long as you read the notes and look up the material that you're unsure about in the book you'll pass the class.

This class is very hard. All the grades come from four exams and she gives you class made study guides. The study guides suck and miss a lot of the information. If you must take this class, make sure you use the online website for quizes and read the chapters before a test.

This class was very hard because all of the grades are from the four tests. The study guide for these tests are class made, so they suck and don't contain all the information. I didn't mind the professor much, but she makes the class too hard and doesn't help you with the exams. If you take this class, make sure you read the chapters before exams.

As long as you take notes and attend class you will be fine. I rented the book but I only found it useful the day I missed class, other than that I never used it. Her tests are straight from the power points in class but does not post them online. Easy A.

Dr. Hall is a great professor and has a great deal of information that she loves to share with the class. To me, this class is somewhat of an easy A, if you GO TO CLASS, write notes, read & review your notes at least once a week and you'll be prepared for the tests. There are only tests in the class. So GO!

By far the worst teacher I have ever had in my time at college. I fell asleep in her class almost every day bc she was so boring and monotone. Nothing is on BB and she tests on the most random information from her class lecture. She starts to ramble and laugh about things that are annoying and irrelevant. Don't bother buying the book.

Do not buy the textbook, you will not use it. She is monotone but you will get over her voice after the first few classes. Her tests are not that difficult, you must study though! I highly suggest doing to study quizzes she puts up before each test.

She is very knowledgeable of Psychology. I took her for Psych of Personality, extremely interesting class. I learned a LOT. Her voice will stop bothering you after like the 3rd class. Gives great examples, plays a few films. Read your notes before the test and you'll do fine. Gives extra credit, don't really need the book. She's a nice lady.

She takes attendance. I didn't purchase the book. I'm a Psychology Major, so half of what is taught I know already. However, her tests are HARD! They are mainly application questions so you must study. I never study for psychology but I learned the hard way (2 Ds on my 1st 2 exams and studying and receiving a B on the 3rd one) that I must study!

Dr. Hall has a really monotone voice. I got used to it. She gives alot of great examples to make sure you understand things. I could have done well in the class if i actually studied. However, she doesn't post slides on Bb. she made us write pages of notes, & only tested us on like 1/4 of it.

Dr. Hall is a great professor. Her tests are easy and she gives you extra credit through out the semester. She has stories for each disorder that you cover so that you can have real life examples instead of just having the typical definition. She is really nice also and will help you if you need it. Should be an easy A.

Dr. Hall is a really great teacher, her stories help you understand the material much better! Her tests come straight from her notes but you must go to class for the notes because she does not put them on blackboard. She gives 5 points extra credit so you will for sure get a A!

I had Dr. Hall for abnormal psych. She is a really good teacher - she knows her stuff. Attendance is important because she gives lots of notes every class and they are not posted on blackboard. As long as you take notes and study the notes for the test you can definately get an A.

She's a really sweet teacher and you can tell she loves what she does. Attendance is really important because she doesn't put notes on blackboard but her tests are easy if you study the notes and read through the chapters. You can easily pull a passing grade in here and you actually learn something.
