Dr. Dominguez's class was so simple. Her test questions came straight from the online quizzes and the CD's. 90% of the class only showed up on test days. I showed up everyday, never took notes, studied the online homework and listened to the CD's & got an A. you'll probably need the textbook.

Easiest A. Listen to CDs, take online practice exams and take notes because they're all straight on her quizzes. She's a little intimidating if you're a spineless chicken. Bio major with no problem and attendance isn't mandatory. Skim the text if you want and that's it.

Dr Dominguez is the best!!! She is straight up and very understanding. Her class is well structured, and the music we listen to is great. I loved how a lot of the material was online, which made things easy if you don't attend the lectures.She made class a lot of fun and I am so glad I chose this class. Great person

Comment:

Dominguez is not a good professor. She needs to relax a bit more. We all know she knows the topic, which is why she has a doctorate degree right? She shows off too much and at times it just becomes boring to listen to her...also kind of rude to those trying to learn/ask questions. Rosenburg was much better. Overall, ok class.

Comment:

The humanities seminar that she taught alongside Prof. Rosenberg was fantastic. She is witty and clever, but will call you out if you don't pay attention. Participation is a must. This seminar is perfect for anyone with an interest in theater, film, and music. Prof. Dominguez will turn your interest into a passion. Challenging, yet rewarding class.

I took this class last spring as an 8 week class. I have been playing violin since I was little so the class was easy for me to understand. There is a listening portion to her tests so you HAVE to listen to the cds or you will not do well on her tests. As long as you do the homework, attend the concerts, and read the text you will get an A or B.

I took Mus 20 with Professor Dominguez during the summer and I loved it, the thing is you have to be willing to put it the time and effort. You can get away without purchasing the book but you will completely fail the listening portion on the test if you choose to do that. The tests are easy if you take the practice tests and the concerts are fun!

I wish i hadn't taken this class because I would have still had a clean report card. It's a music class meaning it'z suppose to be an easy A...WELL not so EZ. The listening portion was completely rediculous. For an A student, i got a C. Dont take this class, take History of Rock instead, I wish I had and it's too late to drop.

one of the best teachers at saddleback. she wont take bull and thats why people complain but she will prepare you for the real world.shes fun and we laugh a lot in class. if it werent for her i would have left saddleback a long time ago.

I love her!! Amazingly gifted at pulling a performance out of her students. Everyone that I knew that didn't like her was lazy and whiny...she is funny and I grew so much in her class. She teaches that performing is a discipline! Very important, pay attention. Trust me~ she is smarter than you are: )

Well she is a nice fun lady. As a professor she is not very professional. She missed several classes. She arrived late. One time after an hour of waiting for her the class left. Her water breaks turned into a 30 to 40 minute break while the students wait on her. I learned very little. This class is a waste of time.

Dr. Dominguez is a great teacher. If you want a professor who will challenge you then her classes are right for you. If you are sluggish and disinterested she will call you on it (if she thinks you are worth the time). She is the best teacher I have had at Saddleback. She will make you believe in your talent. She knows her stuff. Just dont be LAZY
