McClure is a wise woman. Don't expect a good grade just by coming to class everyday. She is wicked smart and sometimes I think she forgets you are learning this information for the first time. She gave me an A+: How? Go to class! Sit in the front! Read the text! Record the lecture! Listen to the lecture piece by piece! Re-do your notes!

Dr. McClure was a great professor.Extremely smart and taught me so much. She wants you to know more than the basics and teaches alot of information.However, she lets you know exactly what she expects from you.Reviews before exams and tells you what an A answer will sound like.Mostly essay questions. So sad she doesn't teach more classes! Got an A

The professor has such a bad rep. I will really miss her class. I learned so much. Yes this is a hard course but she really does try to help. Going to class is a must and recording her lectures will help. Study every day and practice responses for the tests.

Prof. MCClure is the best professor I have ever had. She is very intelligent. I learned alot from her class. All you need to do is record the lecture and reviewit. I never used the book. I got an A and I also had lab with her and other 3 classes. It is possible, just study every day.

It took a while to get used to her teaching style. Once I recorded her lectures it was way easier. She tests on her lectures so be there and listen to the recordings or you will miss a lot. She is helpful and allows for a test make-up. Be specific in answering her essay questions. You will learn a lot from her if you study what she teaches.

Dr. Mcclure is the best professor I have ever taken. I learned a lot from her. You do need to study alot but it's worth it. I never used the book. All you need to do is go by the lecture to pass with a good grade. I recommned that you use a recorder because she gives a lot of information. Exams are essay so you need to understand the stuff.

Prof. McClure is highly intelligent, it takes a while to get used to her teaching style but hang in there, go to all the lectures and record them. She goes mostly by what she says, not the book. I took this,lab and 4 other classes and seriously suffered for it.

This is a very interesting class but there is ALOT of information!!!! McClure is super knowledgable! If you don't understand something ask her...or use the internet, student success center, or meet the professor before/after class!! A study partner helps too! Be prepared to WORK for your grade!

Highly knowledgeable almost gets a little lost in all the knowledge. Be ready to step it up> she is very fair, recently started being more understanding.hard test question but getting an A is totally possible. If you can achieve an A in her class you are nurse worth. I totally recommend her.She test directly out of her lectures. Use a recorder!!!

essay questions are HARD. Jumps around a lot takes a while to get use to it all. She is HIGHLY intelligent which makes it hard for her for her to communicate with a simple college mind, expects that your know the subject. But it makes you step it up. Grades fare, no complaints. She provides you with all you need to succeed. ranks high on my list

Not as bad as people make it seem you MUST read the chapters and notes you take in class to pass her class. Worked full-time & took this class it was a heavy load. Use the chapter guideline to review the material. Repetition, Repetition! Use the book website and flash cards to help you learn steps, put the effort in class & you will do ok.

MICRO IS A LOADED COURSE! THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS!! People complain so much about McClure, but you are encouraged to record her lectures(some even video rec.) she lets you retake an exam,and she grades on a curve. She's not a monster. The RN prog. is NO JOKE. its time to get serious guys. Please believe me. BTW...I never heard her yell. Im just sayin

this teacher is nuts! DO NOT TAKE HER! she's very impatient when it comes to questions and beware...she will yell and make you feel stupid. she doesn't care that everyone fails. she jumps into lecture like if you were an expert. shes extremely unfair with her grading. if u want to pass give your kids up for adoption and quit your day job.

Where do i begin?...ok micro is hard as it is..but this teacher makes it way tougher..she needs better teaching methods and she speaks as if we know micro already, which obviously we dont thats why we in the class. I think chaffey needs eliminate these bad teachers and substitute them with teachers that actually know how to do their job

Comment:

She is def. hard and keeps you on your toes, but is preparing you for nursing and does a great job. Don't take her if you are not thick skinned, you need to be able to handle criticism and her humor. She makes you work for your grades and will not outright tell you the answers that you need to figure out. She taught me a lot and I'm glad I had her!

Very hard to understand, even my recorder can't pick up some things she mumbles. She gives you definitions like as if you know them already. Not very straight forward w/ answers, she starts answering a question you didn't ask. She expects you to read her mind on how she wants a question answered. Take Cobos shes lesser of the 2 bad teachers.

VERY HARD class. u learn alot..she knows sooo much and wants u 2 also. its possible 2 pass, but she makes u work 4 it. exams r essay style & str8 frm lectures, so recorders r helpful. Very particular when grading. DONT b shy w/ her, she liked ?s but her answers are not str8 forward. She makes u think. She wants u 2 learn so nursing skl is easier.
