Straight up worst professor at GCC. Her lectures are boring and monotone. It is like she is lecturing to herself. Most of the time I couldn't make out what she was writing or hear her. Take anyone but her. Shame on GCC!

Worst professor at GCC! Most of the professors at GCC are gems. How is she still teaching? I would routinely fall asleep in class because of how boring she is. I feel sorry for not only her, but for the students that have to take her. Run for the hills!

One of the sweetest professors, however the course is quite challenging. Her lectures are informative, and interesting. Her tests are not easy, however if you take notes & go to her office hours you should be fine. She wants her students to do well, so she takes your opinion into consideration. Overall you have to work hard to receive a good grade.

This professor is kind however, she is not a good teacher. I am lost half the time, her handwriting is horrendous, and she isn't clear on any of the topics. The only perk is she is a very easy grader and curves the grades because she doesn't want her students to fail, and for her to look bad. Tests are very hard, even though u will prob pass.

Absolutely terrible, deserves to get her teaching license revoked. We went the whole year without knowing what we got on exams until months after we took them, she submitted grades and we dont even know what we got an assignments or the final exam which was taken a month ago.

Caba is sweet and loves economics but she needs to work on teaching plans. The last four chapters were squeezed into the last week, literally. This was my first B in college. Material isn't hard. graded on five homeworks, 2 midterms, group project, and final. take every assignment seriously, they will impact you greatly.

She does a terrible job at teaching & she often gets confused so when she messes up, students are more confused. Her penmanship is horrible so it makes things harder to understand & she doesn't explain things thoroughly during lecture. We never reference the textbook in class, so you're pretty much on your own. She's sweet, but not a good teacher.

the book is useless, she doesnt give homework, doesn't go over tests. her study guide is not helpful. I saw tutors, went to office hours, read a different textbook, and got a C. Don't take her, it is not worth stress and disorganization.

one of my favorite professors. The people who complain about her don't try enough and don't realize they need to put in the effort to get an A. she's a great teacher that understands the material well and teaches it effectively. i admit, her writing and accent could be tough but you can ask her to repeat it or go to her office hrs to ask her

One of the toughest teachers I have ever had. Her teaching method is so confusing and very unclear. She makes you buy an Access Code while it is 100% useless. She is a nice person but not a good teacher. She ruins your GPA.

I go to UCSD now, but I enjoyed professor Kaba's class immensely at GCC. If you go to class and you do the homework, you'll pass with an A. I don't really have any major gripes about her except for ONE thing: the way she teaches economics does not prepare you for what economics is in a four year university. Econ is math, and she teaches no math.

Although Professor Kaba is kind and willing to meet outside of class in office hours, she is very unclear in her lectures. Her handwriting is abysmal and cannot be read, and she rarely uses the book, which further complicates her lectures. Do not take this class.

Professor Kaba is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. She cares about the students, and is readily available to talk outside class. She gave me a private lecture once when I missed a day of class! That said, she can be hard to understand, and lacks clarity sometimes. And her handwriting is awful. You need to work hard and ask questions.

she's really one of the most knowledgeable econ professors here at gcc, love her so much. yes she's a little tougher, but its not like its unbearable. ppl who write the negative reviews need to realize they're in college. also if you take her, i recommend going to her office hours, really helps you learn more and makes her like u a lot.

Look. This professor is nice and knows the material very well. Just want to point out: this was one of the hardest classes that I've taken in my 2 years at GCC... We went through 12 chapters, with the last few chapters rushed in a few weeks before the final exam. Its pretty HARD. If you think you're smart and disciplined and can handle it, then ok.

seriously really nice, but seriously hard. she explains the material well and you have to actually work hard to get an A, but what do you expect. she grades fair and all of her quizzes are take home, giving you about a week to complete them. she's a nice person and really respect her a lot for her work.

Her teaching style is very confusing and her writing is messy. Buying the textbook was useless because she uses her "own" methods. All of her test are difficult and confusing. I studied a lot for her class and still got a C in her class. Attendance is big in her class. Don't take her, she will hurt your GPA . Anyone else is better.

Hello there, I am currently in Mrs. Kaba's Economics 102 class; I can honestly say that she is one of the kindest professor I have ever had, nay, kindest teacher. She also explains the material very well, but this doesn't mean you should only rely on her lectures. Take notes, and read the chapters as well. You're in college, don't be lazy.
