Dr. Jenkins isn't bad at all. She keeps the class interesting and the work is manageable. She's funny and pretty intelligent. Race Relations is a good class, fairly easy as well, just keep up with the work and you will do fine.

Terrible teacher. If you disagree with her views she holds it against you. I would reccommend not taking any classes that she teaches. She seems bitter.

Smart? Definitely. Funny? Absolutely. But terrific? No. Unfortunately, Jenkins is the type of professor that dumbs her classes down for her students. She presents things in such a way that everyone is sure to understand but few people are really challenged. My advice? Take one, maybe two classs (Social Problems, Race, or Women/Men) but no more.

She is great, very knowledgeable. Her notes are staightforward, and her tests are directly from her notes. You have to take good notes and study them like crazy for the tests. Only 2 tests and 1 paper for the grade, but if people do bad on the test, will try to find a way to fix their grade. Very smart lady, definately take this class.

Dr. Jenkins is great - very funny at times with interesting stories and a quirky personality which adds to her classes. Her TA will make or break the class so make sure you get a good one.

The material is very hard to understand and that makes the class very hard to understand. She is a good professor but has trouble teaching hard concepts, but always has interesting discussions in applying econ to stuff that is going on in the world.

Excellent professor. I specifically take her courses. Courses relevant to current issues. Straight forward in teaching and comments. Very knowledgeable. Should write a book on topics taught because no one else has comprehensive data.
