extremely passionate about the development of children But her grading criteria is unclear I have no idea where her reasoning is Her tests are write ins and although she lets you have a one sided cheat sheet youll still find yourself losing massive points because although you got the big pic you left out her own personal words

Grade is based on attendance, 3 tests, a PSA 2 min video, and PSA research paper. Her class lectures are boring because she reads of the slides and doesn't really ask if there's any questions. A nice professor. Easy grader too. Tests aren't multiple choice, short answer + essay portion. But allows cheat sheets and has a study guide.

My other review got deleted.. oddly enough, but this teacher is horrible, do not take her, she does not outline what she expects of you with her assignments and teachers in a very disorganized manner. Doesn't even know the answers to students questions regarding her topic. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & TAKE HER. Worst teacher i've ever met.

I took this class and she left in the middle of the semester to do research but she is a good professor. Her lectures are well-organized and she loves to hear student opinions. She starts interesting discussions and is always available to help. She's kind of a hippie type looking person, very kind, caring, and patient. Take her!

The professor provides all course material and readings for the week. She placed all lectures online to review and she allowed a cheat sheet for test.This class was by no means easy but,the professor provided all the tools needed for the student to succeed. She was not only helpful but very understanding and witty. I recommend this class to ALL.

She is a good teacher. hard tests, but gives you a huge study guide and lets you bring a cheat sheet. You have 3 projects(lab), 2 midterms, 1 presentation(lab) and a final. attendence isn't mandatory, but highly suggested b/c she gets points from it. She also posts all her powerpoints. very helpful to ask questions. trys very hard to help.

Carrie is an extermely helpful and attentive professor who has a genuine interest and concern for the success of her students--particularly those interested in grad school. However, she often plays favorites, "passively" insults students, and is more than often exteremely unclear in explanations and expectations.

What an amazing woman! Difficult concepts are well explained. She has abundant patience, care, and genuine love for her students. Try hard, and take advantage of the opprtunity to learn from Dr. Saetermoe.

Although she has a good is a good heart, I believe she is not an ethical instructor. She has been very petty in the past using personal things against her students in "dinging" them on their grades. To me that is very sad and unprofessional.
