Comment:

The closest thing I had to a mentor, I took Dr. Davis for Trig and Differential Equations. More than any other professor I know, Davis perfectly walked the line of aiding her students while still forcing them to use their critical thinking capacity, which resulted in a very conducive learning environment. Probably biased, but the only 5 I've given.

Math is definitely not my strong subject but Mrs. Davis was super helpful. She offers free tutoring to her students even on a weekly basis and explained everything really well.

Comment:

I hated this class with a passion. She piled on the work in the last few weeks and rushed the hardest work. She would routinely just not show up to appointments made and gives little pity you need help. Would've dropped had I known.

Mrs. Davis is a very nice lady and super helpful! I took her for college algebra over the summer. We had a full class and she took time each day to go over any questions we had about the previous days homework. She will give partial credit also and is extremely helpful! I highly recommend her.

Comment:

Mrs. Davis was very helpful with questions and always willing to make time to meet with students. However, she would sometimes get confused or go off on tangents about other math problems which led to classroom confusion. Also, she is super slow at grading tests,homework, etc. Otherwise, a very nice lady who loves math!

This teacher is alright. She is helpful when it comes to the work, but by the end of the semester, she rushes and you going to be the one to study 2 to 3 chapters for the final. She teaches the material very slow, and grades very hard.

Easy at first but it gets really hard in the end. She is somewhat helpful and it takes her forever to grade homework which kills you when preparing for tests. She goes too fast at times when she does crazy long matrices and she often becomes confused at times. She is difficult but you really dont have much of a choice because she teaches Cal3 too.

I remember taking Davis's precal class & it seemed like a breeze at the time, but looking back, I realize that she actually taugh the material so well that I didn't even have to worry about it. I didn't know that stuff going in, and I know it very well now, so that tells you something. My first semester at MGC and I got an A in precal. She's very willing to work with GAMES students as well.

Mrs. Davis is a wonderful teacher. She is kind and approachable and really works hard to make sure that what she grades you on is what you were supposed to learn, not your ability to finish a diffy-q in an hour. No one could ever say that they didn't pass one of her classes even though they knew the material. She takes forever to get stuff back to students, but it is b/c she really doesn't believe in flunking someone b/c of simple adding errors or things like that. She really goes over all grading well.

I love Mrs. Davis. She is a nice lady and good at teaching math. Her attendance policy is cool and the way she allows you to cancel out an absence by going to the board 3x and answering a problem should be done nation wide. A great asset in that very boring town and university!
