He was a great teacher who retired last semester. I really learned a lot during in his class, even though I was in one of the most non-participating classes ever. I'm sorry if you missed out on Chuck, since he retired last semester.

He is an awesome teacher. He cares about the student's academic enrichement and he wants the student to participate in class. Too bad he is retiring after this semester; Chaffey is really losing a valuable anthropologist. Good Luck Mr. C!

He was one of the worst teachers I ever had. He would not cover what we needed to know. Right before a test he would give us most of the answers. Talks to much about his personal life. BORING!

I found his class very amusing.. he was interesting to talk to and listen to. His tests will be a bit difficult if you don't study.. just pay attention.. he can be entertaining. 2 abstracts were assigned, and if you follow formats correctly, you shouldn't have a problem.

Chuck is awesome! He comes off as being mean, but he just wants students to take his class seriously. He's got a really dry sense of humor but I love it! His tests are difficult and he says you should study for 8 hours. Must read the book. Assigns 2 abstracts. Not an easy A, but he's the best teacher I've had!

Really funny guy, but be prepared to work hard! Tests are difficult, and you need a 92% in his class to get an 'A'. Funny though, and gives detailed outlines.

BEST teacher I've ever had. He has a very dry sense of humor that most people don't get. He cusses a lot and always complained about our class. But I found all that funny. I loved his teaching style because it incorporated visual aids with the lectures. If I could take this class again, I would. I absolutely loved his class!

I took his class about 10 years ago, and I remember thinking, "How can someone be so enthusiastic about anthro?" His excitement rubbed off, though, and I really got into the class. Today, I still remember a lot of the material.
