I absolutely loved this class and Dr. King-Cooper. I highly recommend her as a professor. She really cares about what she is teaching. A textbook is required, but I did not really use it unless there was a question on the study guide that was not mentioned in the lectures or powerpoints. All the grades are based on four tests and four papers.

Comment:

Dr. King-Cooper is by far one of my favorite professors. Not only is she passionate about her work, she genuinely cares about her students and makes the material easy to follow. She is personable and elaborates upon everything well and wants everyone to succeed. I highly recommend her for any course

I love Dr King-cooper. She's a very kind and caring person and her lectures were enjoyable. This class will definitely make you think about. Lots of writing in this class, but there are no tests, so thats a perk. around 15 1-2 page papers and 3 projects/presentations. Overall a good class

Comment:

I've had King-Cooper for 3 semesters. I love her! She gives clear rubrics, provides examples for some of the papers, and is very understanding if something comes up and you miss the test/quiz. Her classes are pretty discussion based, so don't be afraid to ask questions during lecture (she gives extra credit if you don't miss any classes)

Comment:

Dr. King-Cooper is by far the best professor I have had. She cares about her students and if you apply yourself she will work with you. Her study guides are almost identical to the test, some questions are tweeked but over you will be able to have a general idea. Shes so much fun and a wonderful person. If you can, take her for Psych :)

Great professor. Encourages class discussion. Material can get tedious when it comes to memorizing sociological data in relation to lifespan development, but the study guide questions correspond with the test questions for the most part. What is covered during lecture is what is on the tests. Take advantage of extra credit. Overall, fairly easy.

Jennifer is simply just an awesome person. I will miss class discussions most. She encourages diverse viewpoints across a wide array of concepts and topics. Study guide questions test questions. She is highly intelligent and knows how to have fun every now and then. Ask questions! Don't be afraid to give your opinion, she likes that. Easy class.

Would take her again. You have to co-lead a class with a group but was easy. She is laid back and makes the class interesting. There are 4 papers and got points for sitting in a circle and talking about anything and everything. She is smart and respectful of her students. Have to take quizzes but they are easy points as long as you read material

I took this class online, and while I often find this method of learning less effectivemeaningful, her thoughtful responses to my work and willingness to allow me to to get what I wanted out of the course made it quite personal. In short, she is excellent. Don't hesitate to take this course online. She makes the experience as positive as possible.

This instructor is great. She covers the material well and tries to make sure that everyone has a good understanding of what's going on. Although she does get a bit distracted at times, she still covers everything you need to know to pass her tests and the class.

The main thing i dont like about this professor is the ammount of times she gets side tracked. Dont get be wrong, I'm all about a little distraction every once in a while when you dont feel like doing work, but its on a daily basis. She allows the class to go on and on about one topic then its hard to see the point she is trying to make.

Absolutlu wonderful instructor. Very helpful, fair and caring. Loves teaching. Very interested in student comments and assessments. Only teacher I would recommend for this class. She is excellent!

Really cool and fun once you get to know her. Her lectures didn't really help me much, but her study guide is amazing. If you learn everything on the study guide you will most likely get all A grades. I recommend her social psych class if you enjoy learning about social groups and enjoy interacting with other students.
