Mushrush was a super nice guy and a very personable guy. I liked him as a person but you have to attend class to even understand what is going to be on the test. MH Homework is completely different than exams/quizzes and not covered in class. It's almost like you are on two different pages, but if you pay attention, you can get at least a B.

Mushrush is a good prof. if you are looking to take an econ class. He gets off on tangents sometimes but they are usually funny, he likes to let class out early from time to time and the book is optional. However, he teaches right from the book, no powerpoints. So if you don't write down what he says and don't have the book, have fun.

He is absolutely hilarious. All of his lectures are very engaging and he teaches you the course through his random stories. Not a lot of homework and the things he does assign are easy. Everything he tests you on he covers in lecture so you don't need to read the book separately.

Super great guy. Gives students all the help they need including allowing the class to retake an exam as a whole when the average grade was poor and splitting the difference. No homework. Uses a student friendly textbook with funny examples. The study guides didn't seem to help too much but if you show up to lecture and take notes, no issues.

Mushrush was one of the best professors I've had at ISU. He's hilarious and makes the 2-hour lecture fly by. He's very passionate about his job. Economics isn't easy for many to understand, but he always provides good examples to each topic. I became an Economics minor because of him. Plus, 85% is an A in his class. Take him!

If you want to experience the first every funny economics class, take a class with Mushrush. This professor is amazing. He cares about each and every student's success in his class. Only complaint, is he doesn't teach more classes.

Hardest GenEd I've taken at ISU for sure. If you have the option to take 103 or 105 take 103 it is the easy A. The quizzes and exams are extremely difficult especially if you are not an econ major. The first quiz the average is a 5/10. If you do not go to class you will be CLUELESS. Get help ASAP if you are behind he cares and offers opportunities

Mushrush is a great and enthusiastic lecturer. I do not like Econ but he makes a hard topic easier to understand. I like that he has many types of grades such as: quizzes, tests, HW, and two short papers. I got a better grade than I anticipated receiving.

If you're not interested in Econ you really have to work for you grade. For nearly 2/3 of the semester everyone has C's or low B's because the micro content sucks. It gets better near the end but it's so lecture heavy and long that you kind of lose motivation near the end. Don't skip class! Notes are very graph oriented which also sucks.

Chris is one of the best teachers I have had at ISU so far. He really cares about the material he is teaching and wants the class to succeed. The first test is very hard, but after that you know what to expect and how to study. Go to his office hours or the review sessions if you need help! They help a lot! Go to class and study and it will be fine

Great Professor, really cares about his class and always willing to help his students. Very hard class but Mushrush is the way to go, pay attention and go to lectures because everything he goes over in class is usually on the test. also has a curve where a B is a 75 or above.

This class is hard, but Mushrush makes it very enjoyable. As long as you read the chapters, prepare for the quizzes and exams, and maybe go to some tutoring (which I recommend), then you should do fine!

He grades class based solely on 3 tests and 16 online homeworks. Very manageable if you study a good amount for the tests. He likes to joke around and relate economics to pop culture. A really good teacher overall.

I really enjoyed this class and teacher. However, it can be difficult. Material is completely application based and you need to understand it very well in order to score high on the tests. The grading scale is modified and an 85 or higher will get you an A. He's a fun teacher. We should be thankful we can take macro and micro in a single class.

Mushrush's style of teaching is very easy to focus on. He seems very knowledgeable about econ and makes lectures interesting, though they are long. BEWARE of the 5 quizzes and 5 tests. They can be difficult because you need to understand how to apply concepts. His 2 assigned papers were annoying and tedious. Occasional random attendance checks.

Econ 105 sucks, but Mush made it bearable and sometimes even enjoyable. He is the ONLY teacher that I would ever take an econ class from again, as I have heard horror stories about the other professors. Strongly recommend

Mush is a really great professor that gets stuck with this horrible class. Eco 105 is a really tough course but he does is best to keep you invested in it. There are annoying online assignments and papers (second one is hard) but they help your grade a lot. usually gives ec on bad weather days so make the trip to class.

It's very hard to focus in his lectures because of the amount of tangents he goes on. I would strongly recommend that you get extra help outside of class because he won't teach you.

honestly Mush is an awesome teacher, he makes a horrible class seem a little better. However, the tests and last paper are horrible. He knows this course sucks, but still assigns a super hard paper.. however, If he didn't curve the overall grading scale, i would have easily failed

This class was definitely a brutal one but having a teacher who can keep your attention for an entire 2 hours helps and makes class bearable and even sometimes enjoyable
