Professor Moorehead will always have an impact on me as a student an individual she truly cares and is so passionate about what she does. Her class changes your for the better She is so respected amongst her students. I would definitely recommend her class!! You meet so many new people and everyday you have a new seat partner its her only rule

To whoever is reading this... yes, take her class! Her lectures are great and she gives many examples for terms. I enjoyed her class so much I was sad when it ended! You can tell she cares about her students and enjoys teaching. She creates a very comfortable learning environment. You'll also know everyone in the class by the 2nd week.

Professor moorehead is the teacher to take for any communications class! She is the best, very energetic and excited to be teaching. She is there for her students and helps you achieve self growth in speech giving. The absolute best professor hands down. Not to mention you will never fall asleep in her class she keeps it up beat and interesting.

Comment:

Ms. Moorehead is one of the most fun and interactive professors I've ever had. She truly invests a lot into her class and really wants to get to know each of her students. This class requires a lot of busy work, nothing complex. However, as long as you show up to each class and do the work, an A is almost guaranteed. None of the work is difficult.

Shes really down to earth and awesome. Honestly as long as you do your speeches and do well on her midterm and final you can easily get an A. Im a little upset about one of my speeches, I worked real hard and I know I did better than the girl next to me. The whole time she was looking at her paper, I didnt even do that. She got an A & I got a B.

I loved this course and Professor Moorhead did an amazing job of establishing a community for the classroom. By the second class I had developed a relationship with each student and we communicated regularly. Didn't care for the group projects and she isn't clear on directions so be sure to ask questions. I highly recommend her.

Her class is so organized, due to this syllabus that she gives you since the first day of class. You will know when each assignment and speech is due. There are 6 speeches, one midterm, and the final. Read the book, be creative in your speech writing, and most importantly be committed to working hard in this class. She is very caring, and amazing!

Best Teacher EVER! She's down to earth, "HUMAN"! Not only does she want you to pass her class, she also wants u 2 understand & apply what you learn to real life. Participate, read the text, do the hmwk/projects study for the test/quiz can be hard but she will review b4 She's helpful & approachable. Get a book doesn't have to be the newest edition.

Best class I have taken. I actually use what I have learned in everyday life when communicating. show up do your work and you will pass. exams are a bit tough but as long as you read and do your work should be easy.

Professor Moorehead is a gem. She genuinely cares about her student and assigns work that has purpose that allows you to grow as a student and human. Each class is interactive but in small groups. You feel the sense of community in the class room. There is work to be done but there is plenty of time to complete. Keep up on the readings.

Midterm and finals are easy as long as you use the studyguide. 5 presentations: i dont like to present but were all easy; you get up in front of the class and read off a paper, and that's basically it. Professor does make you go to a play and write a 2 pager about it. That's all she grades and deducts points for being absent.

I feel like the honors class was similar to a regular class except busy work while she was recieving speech topics and the last few weeks is when she smashed in all the honors things. I am sure it will smooth out the more she teaches 10H. Besides the pacing, just make sure you are on her good side and you should be fine. Skim the book ahead of time

Professor Mooorhead designed an astute program in communication and public speaking, a vital learning process to succeed. She focused on a tight, formulated speech preparation enable you to filter the importance in the art of persuasion. She is a caring person as well as respectful to her charge, a rarity.

4 speeches, midterm, and final. couple homework assignments here and there. not a very hard class. professor moorhead does take into account some people's fear of public speaking and makes it easy. She is a pretty forgiving professor. take her if you are looking to take a comm class

Moorhead made public speaking more fun than scary, she did a great job at making the class fun, inviting and engaging. 4 speeches , 1 midterm and 1 final, rarely any homework... my class was so friendly and supportive, great experience for a intimidating subject !

Professor Moorhead is the best professor I have ever had. Her teaching strategies are amazing, she explains every lecture slide in detail. She is hilarious and a beautiful human being. She really wants you to learn.! I wish she taught all subjects! I definitely recommend her to everyone!
