Not my fav. subject to take, but Prof. Helfers is easy going, does go out of her way to help you if your struggling. Attendance & completing assigned homework on time is mandatory esp. if you want a HIGH grade in this class!! I HIGHLY recommend her! :)

She is ok. The class is easy. Just do the work and show up. She lets you write about whatever you want to. She is very nice and very understanding. However, she does not give a lot of time to write an essay so you feel rushed. It is a good class to take with her, but beware she is a talker and thinks she is really funny.

Took an online course with her - Travel Writing. She's enthusiastic about writing and offers constructive criticism. Because it's an online class, the clarity on what she wants on papers is a little cloudy, but just ask and she'll do her best to clear it up. Friendly lady and offers help and insight when asked.

She is an awesome person and realizes that most of us do not want to be there so she tries extra hard to be cheerful and fun. Unfortunately, unlike English 101, you have to do work in this class, but she explains everything in great detail and gives you sufficient time to work on assignments. A very sweet lady!

She is hilarious and makes English as good as it is going to get. The homework is easy, but the papers take work. What she expects is very clear to the student. She tells you EXACTLY what she wants in your paper. I worked hard and was borderline A and B, but she let me fix a paper to get an A. I would definitely recommend her.

class can be pretty boring at times, but she always trys to make it interesting and helpful. all the busy work is easy and helps your grade. she's pretty tough on essays but is really willing to spend time with you to make them better.

Not spectacular but certainly no one to complain about. Could have simply been a relatively boring course. Extremely fair and willing to work with students if problems arise. Rcommended.
