There is a lot of lectures, but it is always entertaining! The tests are super easy if you do the chapter assignments because they are the same as the test. I took him for two classes and I loved both of them. I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

Great teacher. He has a lot of life stories that tie in with the subject at hand. Although he may chase rabbit trails, it eventually ties into the bigger picture. You can get an easy A if you simply show up for class and do the little homework he gives. Why? Because to learn what he's trying to teach only requires you to be there and listen.

Comment:

Mr. Fugate is a great teacher. He knows the material, and has experience as a musician. His lectures are great and include a lot of anecdotal material, so he's not just standing there reading the textbook to you. I thought the tests were easy, and he doesn't assign "busy work" the way some teachers do. He's the only one I recommend for this class.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking his class. The man definately knows what he's talking about. He doesn't just stand up and spew facts strait from the book. He's had real experiences in the music business. I'd recommend him to everybody!

Great instructor. If you put forth the effort in his class, you will receive a decent grade. I wished he encouraged more class participation and debate. Other than that I loved the class. Projects should have been done at the beginning of the semester instead of the very end.
