Prof. Sander is very resonable on her tests. The wording is often times different than the reading and the lecture which can sometimes throw one off. I felt that she could sometimes be very opinionated and despite your supporting arguement if she did not agree with you, it showed in your grade. All things considered however, she's great teacher.

Besides her biased grading that I had to complain to her about and luckily was able to repeal, she is really NOT your typical German bureaucrat of a teacher. SHe has a lot of spirit and interest in controversy. She will draw you out as a student and challenge you without being tactless and rude. But she could do more to facilitate on the exams.

I liked Mrs. Sanders, respected her, and agreed with many of the things she had to say. Regardless, I very rarely spoke my mind. I probably would have if she hadn't been so busy patronizing me for...sitting quietly and minding my own business? Yeah, I was the kid who got picked on. 'tis a shame, because I thought she was a really good teacher.

GREAT Teacher!!! I had a blast in her class. I was told by other students that I was a favorite of hers, but I think that she is just more inclined to engage a student who is interseted in HUM2211, than one whom has to for the credit requirements. After turning in a couple of papers is when I realized that she shows alot of favortismn. I busted my behind writing papers and only received C's. She told us that after 3 missed classes you would be dropped or get an F, but her favorites received A's and B's, even after missing several days. She definitely has her pets.

EXCELLENT Teacher. Not a boring class at all. She is very good at what she does. It was a very fun class. Really fair in grading paper, exams are not hard. The BEST teracher I ever had. But she is about to retire after fall term'05. I wish there's more teachers like her. She knows what she teaches and you will learn so much from her class.

I also took HUMI2472 (A German Humanities course). She is a Good Teacher in Summer also doesnt let you fall behind. Asked normal amount of Writing/ Grades on Grammer but works with you. Interest level +.

got an A in the class,but i like humanities. i'm a black(male) and i did not see any favortism in her,like one of the other raters did. i loved her class and she is very funny and enjoys what she's doing. i would take her again in a heartbeat.

Frau Sander is a great teacher.German is a hard language but she made it fun and her teaching methods made it easier to learn.We did lots of fun things like puppet shows and singing German drinking songs.She's great!

Ms. Sanders is the worst teacher I've ever had and I don't reccomend anyone to take her class. She also shows alot of favoritism to people who are "more like her". (It's not about getting a teacher who is easy it's about getting, it's about enjoying the class and gaining a better understanding.)

Yup... Do the study guides AND fully read the chapter. It also helps if you stay one chapter ahead and also pay attention to all thoes movies in class - They are the source of many bonus questions. She's fun but not as easy as others here make her out tob
