She's a very inconsiderate professor with a sarcastic attitude. Assigns way to much work that's very off topic with short amount of time. You cant miss class or you get points taken off even if it's excused.

She's a really nice person but assigns endless amounts of homework. You turn in 5 assignments just to go to class and be assigned more. Her deadlines are unspecific and her instructions aren't detailed. We took quizzes on readings and although I read everything I would still fail. Overall was a very stressful class.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! She gives pointless assignments and has you work on multiple essays at the same time. I learned nothing in her class. Do yourself a favor and get yourself out of listening to her talk about starbucks 24/7 instead of actual classwork. Would not recommend!

Professor Dieckmann is unorganized and all over the place. The assignment's aren't clear at all. I took her in class but half the class and assignments were online. She takes forever to give back assignments. She's a very nice lady and is there to help if you need it. You need to book!

She is a funny person with a lot of passion for the subject but not a good professor. Overwhelming amount of busy work and far too much online content. Extremely disorganized. Due dates are a mess and it makes the class extra stressful. Course load doesn't take into account that students have other classes. Take someone else.

She's a really nice person. She's not the "best" comp professor, as I really didn't learn much but she's really good at what she did. Not a lot of in class work. Four papers, reading responses, and online journals. It's really hard to fail, you have to seriously try.

A LOT OF WORK! Deadline after deadline, you will pretty much have something due every class. She loses assignments and then penalizes you for her mistakes. Worst professor I have ever had, I STRONGLY recommend not taking her.

Very Helpful Teacher, although an extreme amount of work. There are about four major essays (about 5 or 6 pages) during the semester plus other assignments like journals and homework, at least 3 or 4 per week. Does not seem like a lot of work now, but it is. She grades really hard on homework and does not accept late work.

If you are really considering taking professor dieckmann's class you are making a big mistake. She gives so much work in so little time that the stress becomes unbearable. She talks way to much and her jokes are definitely not funny. She also grades your papers very hard, so I suggest you do not make my mistake and take her class.

Took her ONLINE for English Comp 1, and she explains everything clear. She gives you enough time to complete your work. Most of it is writting a few essays and giving peer feedback to others. i have maintained a A in the class. Not that hard,and not that much work as i thought!

I took this class online. DO NOT TAKE! She takes forever to respond, gives a ridiculous amount of homework, and expects you to work efficiently in a group of like five people online. It's all just reading little essays and basically giving a summary, and also writing a few essays.

My experience taking comp 2 with Mrs Dieckmann was very positive. The class required a lot of writing, but I felt that my writing skills improved. She chose an interesting selection of literature that made the class fun. She's a very reasonable grader and is willing to give advice. I personally enjoyed the class and would take her again.
