Mills-Cannon is awesome! He is the best teacher i've had. I wish he taught more classes. He is always willing to help, and answer questions. There should be more teachers like him at rcc.

Mr. Mills-Cannon would be happy to fail his entire class. I had him as professor for writing 121. The start of the class we had over thirty students and finished with eight. You will also get to write an extra 4-6 pages essay. Avoid him even if you are a talented writer.

Expect to teach yourself good writing. Mr. Mills-Cannon would be a great teacher is he were friendlier and actually lectured on relevant topics. His lectures invariable involved the content of LITERATURE... as if he would rather be teaching that class, instead. I frequently got irrelevant comments on my papers and was penalized for my politics.

Joy. Theres a limit to how many characters are typed. Well then. Mills-Cannon is hard: very. Fair: absolutely not. If you dont write EXACTLY what he wants & how he wants it, he will discriminate against you and do anything he can to flunk you. I went in for help, took notes diligently, & still almost failed. Its easier to W than to finish his class

If you do not share his opinion don't expect a good grade. I have received many papers in which my opinion did not reflect his own and I received a poor grade because of it. Possibly the most overbearing and arrogant individual I have ever come in contact with. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

He is a tough grader and extremely high expectations. However, if you put forth the effort, ask questions and are a serious student, you will prosper in this class. He is an excellent editor and has alot of skill in writing formal english. However, his standards are too tough for this level of writing.

Extremely difficult teacher. Expects students to conform to his ideas, even though at the same time he wants to hear your ideas. Make a WRITING class into a LITERATURE class. More about the ideas expressed in your writing than about the grammar and other writing skills. A little much for 121, I think.

He is the worst professor I've ever had. If his opinion is not reflected in your work you're penalized with a bad grade. It is 3 weeks until class is over and he still hasn't given a handout that outlines the final project we've been working on all term!! He'll tell you to write an essay and gives you no detail as to what he expects.

He is a hard teacher. He has strong opinions. He is willing to meet with students by appointment. I met with him to clarify what it was he wanted me to chande about my writing.I worked very hard to earn the B. I must have spent about 14 hours per essay.

He is probably one of the worst teachers I've ever had. He is very disorganized. He doesn't follow the syllabus. He gives more homework than he has time to grade. He doesn't grade by how well you wrote it but what you said. If you say anything that he disagrees with you get a bad grade. He makes me want to drop out of college.

No one bulls Collin. You either come to class and do your homework or get the "F". I was writing fragments when I started the class but recieved an "A", as I worked hard though. He does not let poor work pass. He can make a writer out of anyone as he did with me. I wanted to pass the next class and feel he prepared me well. He can be intimidating.
