I have reached out for help on numerous occasions and he was responded rudely instead of being more understanding. There are three tests that are difficult and if you don't do good on one good luck passing the class. I would not take this professor at all. He is not nice at all.

Comment:

You can tell prof masroori genuinely loves his subject matter and cares about the students learning. Ive had him for 3 classes now and he is always so optimistic about each class. There is plenty of reading in all of his classes but you dont really need to read line for line. Honestly one of my favorite professors in the department.

I took him twice & barely passed with Cs. I showed up, paid attention in class, did the work, studied and took the exams, but it wasn't enough. I really thought I was doing well until I saw the midterm grade. He really is amazing, but I can't seem to get his style. Heard from another prof his exams are meant to trick you in some way, so watch out!

I'm an International student and it's the hardest and worst class ever! I I took his summer class with 3 tests and 12 papers. I took it seriously and learned every lesson of his class. I took many notes about each lesson. But I still can't get a good grade on test. you can't find test's answer from his class. Highly recommend foreigners don't take

Tests are HARD and very detailed. I watched every lecture and video posted and take detailed notes but my highest test grade is an 84. VERY picky. I got a b- on my book report, which he noted NO content issues with and said was excellent, bc I missed one tiny piece in his very detailed book report requirements.

Took his PSCI 100 online, and you have to pay 120% attention to every detail he mentioned in his videos or you'll have a C. No extra credits only if you get higher grades on the next exam (3 exams total, each of them is 28% of the final grade). Definitely not take his class again!!!

Online class is well structured. Not allot of points available, so don't miss a discussion and you need to study for tests. Nice that he offers lectures to listen to but he moves quick, so be prepared to pause it. Test questions are super specific, so take good notes and listen to ALL lectures and watch ALL videos he posts and you will do fine.

Dr. Masroori is honestly such a sweetheart! He genuinely likes to teach, and is always super friendly if you have any questions. His lectures are thorough, and his tests really aren't that difficult as long as you prepare. Would definitely recommend taking a class with him.

Took this class online, pretty easy class, but you have to keep up with it. Theres 8 weekly discussions, one paper (a book review), and three exams. I bought the textbook, but never used it. Tests are easy if you take notes on the online lectures he puts up. Interesting class, take it online if you can.

I've taken Masroori for PSCI 392, 370, & 371. He's a great professor! His papers are easy (4pgs max) just make sure you follow exactly what he says even though it may look too simple. Lecture is important, so don't miss that. His exams are EASY just need to memorize all lecture notes (that's the hard part) overall easy experience. He wants u 2 pass

Very enlightening class, one of the hardest classes I've ever taken but I learned so much in the process. No homework, but you better have amazing notes or you will not pass your exams. No study guides for exams either and he's a tough grader on papers but gives very good feedback.

One of the best professors at CSUSM. if you have the chance to take a class with him, TAKE IT!!! Hi lectures are not boring even at 8am he made me interested in the material. You have to go to class in order to keep up but attendance is optional. Two papers and two tests easy to do if you pay attention in class and study and know the material.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! Easily the best professor at CSUSM. I took the class for my GE (I'm not even a psci major) and he kept me interested in the material and I truly learned alot. He is clearly passionate about his job, he is kind and understanding, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students. CSUSM is lucky to have him!!

He is a wonderful, passionate person who is always there to help u do well. A bit intense,not gonna lie.Feels like he is screaming @ u, & when he asks for opinions or objections to certain ideas, he really is just gonna shut u down in seconds. But then again, he is just teaching the philosophy,not promoting it.A bit of a challenge, but recommended.

I took his online class so I can't tell you how he is as a professor. He seemed very nice though. Bought the textbook (AM GOV 2012) but NEVER used it. Waste. Went to class 3 or 4 times for exams or quizzes (if you take it online). Easy class :)
