This professor is great. There's no class discussion which can make classes a little boring but he's super fun and funny and just a genuinely nice guy. TAKE HIM! Easy A. He gives you the answers to all of his tests!

I took him for ANT201 and ANT202. He is an amazing person aside from being a wonderful teacher. He makes jokes, shows movies, and assignments are clear and simple. Attendance isn't mandatory, just go on test review dates. I had a health issue near the end of the semester, and he met with me and was so understanding and caring. What a great guy!!!

In his words, he's an old liberal hippie from the '60s. The bad: political rants, lecturer, no class discussion - ever. The good: exam reviews are great, informative, humorous. Stewart CALLS his students to remind them about exam dates. How cool is that? Take good notes and show up for the reviews. Great guy to talk to after class.

If you are not a huge liberal then i wouldnt recommend this guys. He is very oppinionated and doesnt let anyone talk and voice their opinions during class. Hes very easy and I think I showed up to about 50% of the classes and i still got a B. Just show up for the test reviews

Honestly, this is one of the best teachers i've ever had. He is funny, cares about his students, and knows what he is talking about. He is an easy grader and will accept late papers. He also makes the subject interesting. I recommend taking his physical anthropology course, you won't regret it!

There are only 3 tests including the final. No papers or homework, expect 1 one-minute oral report. He lectures fast, but before each test, he tells you what will be on it. Make sure you go to class on those review days! Easy A.

Very friendly and helpful. I could tell he cared about his students cause he called me at home when I missed things. He should learn to keep his liberal political agenda out of the classroom, though. I wasn't offended, but anyone who is even moderate would be. Take this class if you: like anthropology; want an A; are not a republican.

You can skip all the classes you want and still get an A. Just make sure your there for his reviews he does the class before a exam because he practically tells you what he will be putting on the tests. Extremely easy teacher, but extremely boring subject.

Class was VERY easy, I don't remember on doing any homework, mostly you were to write a short note from the videos that he made us watch. Nobody failed on the exams, since he extremelly curved each test, it was imposible to fail that class.
