He is very rude to his students. He didn't get my name right one time. He wouldn't call me by the name I usually go by. He can be nice, but it comes across as very sarcastic, kinda snarky. Easy class, but he made it almost unbearable.

He made it pretty easy and simple to pass this class. He clearly defined everything that needs to be done, and how to do it properly. He was demanding, but if you gave him the respect of doing your work promptly and correctly, he worked with you. Great teacher, great class.

Online Course: Amazing professor,strict,and expects you to do your work. If you "try" literally...it's an easy A! Expect to write alot (that word is an understatement) throughout the semester! He is well organized and very clear with instructions. He grades pretty fast and replies to all of your work from a personal stand point! TAKE HIM!

Not only is Damerville a great professor, but he's a great guy! He really tries to make class interesting and all of his assigments are extremely clear. Grading is rather consistent as well.

This is the absolute worst teacher I have had at TCC yet. I don't recommend taking him for any class. He doesn't respond to your emails or anything, and he doesn't are about your grades at all. If you take him good luck, he was the worst so far for me.

Learned helpful writing tips in this course. Mr. Damerville is pretty laid back but can be rude to the students and make them uncomfortable sometimes. I overall liked this class. Good if you like to write and would like to make your writing better. Dont ask him for help though.

unlike most 1101 classes you only have 3 big papers, and they are not as difficult as the other classes either.He gives you a lot of time and course direction for them. But you do have small papers due every class. if your late he will lock you out. and he isnt clear when you ask about advice on your papers (ie what he thinks)

Multicultural Mythology is the best elective you can possibly take at TCC. This class was thought provoking but also provided a nice break from the rest of my very hectic schedule. You'd have to be wearing a helmet not to pass this class.

mr. Damerville is a pretty laid back teacher! Attendance is mandatory. If you're late he'll call you out in front of the class. If you don't like writing don't take this class There's 40 In formal assignments. An essay due at almost every class! Plus 3 major essays Other than that he's a great teacher!

I took this class online. He loves what he does, he always responded to my papers with more analysis on the writer and suggestions for me. As long as you follow the guidelines and show that you put some thought into the assignments, you will pass this class fairly easy.

Best teacher I have ever had. I'm so upset I can't take anymore of his classes. Takes genuine interest in EVERY student. Hands down best professor at TCC. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about him.
