This professor's method of teaching is unusual, and teaches his own version of US history. Beware if you have him in order to pass the class you must use the alternate history that he teaches. Latest example of his warped vision of history; "Ho Chi Mihn was not a communist. He was a nationalist." That is one example of his slanted teaching style.

Honestly, I feel like the only people who complain about this professor are those who do not try enough.Mr. Daniels has a very enthusiastic approach and is very accomadating if you simply ask him for help.However, it is necessary to read the textbook in order to pass/do well in class. Everything he teaches while in class is solely on the MT/Final.

Really tough proffesor, but once you pick up his style of teaching you can do very well. The guy is super smart, but can be kind of confusing, but show up, listen and he'll teach you alot. If you want any easy A this guy is not for you, if you want to challenge yourself in American history/ political science take this class.

this teacher is unbelieveable.! he gave me a not so hot grade by two points! hes lectures are nothing on the quizzes and his jokes are corny as ever. hes never around or available to help out and he favors his "marist" students. i highly recommend dropping or swtiching if anyone has him. hes awful and has no sympathy for anything!!

This is a hard class, by time the midterm rolled around half of the class dropped out because it's so hard. He doesn't teach out of the book. But the midterm and the final are on what he teaches in class. I wouldn't recommend taking this class with Daniels.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! i am a history major and i loved the material we were supposed to learn. i have not learned a thing from him. miss his midterm and he puts u in a room alone to take it during class. doesnt care if u cheat. gives notecards to use but on his quizes u need them! lectures and quizes dont conincide at all!!!! BAD PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!
