I Loved this prof. she is amazing if ONLY I had taken her lab. If you take another prof's lab you will probably FAIL. She is really helpful in her lab with out it you will not do very well.

Comment:

Had her for lec & lab. Lec, was good. Read chapter & take some brief notes prior to lec and you'll do fine. Lab, very easy. Just save all drawings & experiments in a folder (in order) throughout semester & she gives extra credit. Overall, she is a good teacher. Fyi, she loves plants and microbiology.

She does have a tendency to go off on a tangent and then return to the original thread, which can get confusing if you take notes in order. However, she is a very friendly person, grades pretty easily, and does drop a grade if you have good attendance. If you have a question, though, you have to ask twice in different ways.

This teacher expects you to know EVERYTHING that she teaches. She does a review but you still have to use the text to answer most of the questions. She goes over so much material over a short amount of time and tests EVERYTHING! Just be sure to know pictures and anything that she draws on the board. She does curve and drop a test grade!

This professor is very hard and comprehensive in teaching biology, her test are very tricky and she is not willing to curve the final grade. If anyone loves a challenge take her but for slackers BEWARE....

She knows what she is talking about but she doesnt know how to teach it to her students.She talks so fast that she wont even stop to take questions, let alone answer them! Do not take her if you can help it! But if you like taking tons of notes and not learning anything...go for it!

She is a nice person when it comes to a friendly non-class talk. But as for asking questions - you can try, but you never get a clear answer. She is very very educated, but has absolutely no pedagogical talent to teach. The thing I dislike about her is that she always thinks that students are supposed to know this & that. Textbook is my only hope.

she is hard teacher when in it come to answer her questions but there from your notes. the most postive thing about her is that she is very easy with her grading so i recommend to take her for lab and lec because you diffently will learn something.

Prof Rector is helpful when you ask questions, but you usually have to have more then once to get the answer. Her instructions are not very clear, the classmates helped each other our a lot, but as long as you show up and have a pleasant attitude and try, you should be able to pass her courses.
